Wolves out: Rudy/Mike/Dillingham
Wolves in/Zubac and DJM
Pels out: DJM, imaginary 2nd round pick
Pels in: John Collins, Rob Dillingham
Clippers out: Zubac and Collins
Clippers in: Gobert, Conley (buyout,) and imaginary second
Wolves sell high on Rudy and get younger at the C while bringing back a potentially valuable DJM who is both recovering from injury and has been struggling with his game even before that. It is risk, but a risk that fits Ant’s timeline and could payout big
Clippers turn Zu into Rudy and instantly upgrade their defense. Harden and Rudy can run PNR and Rudy is a great lob threat and screen assister. LAC buys out Mike who goes to a contender to help their culture.
Why for the Pels, Collins has value as an expiring that can be used in a later deal. Dillingham will get plenty of minutes and might develop into a player, otherwise he becomes an expiring with his 4th year team option. Pels get out of DJM’s contract.

Clippers are 6-20, trading the only good trade assets on the roster in Zubac for Rudy is just doing more stupidity.
This isn't time to double down on the old win now roster that isn't winning. It's time to move on and accept the reality.

I have read a couple of social media posts stating that Ballmer is not going to trade Harden or Leonard.

James Harden, repping blue, green, and grey, alongside Anthony Edwards; how does that sound? Well, trade season has begun, and Marc Stein on ‘The Stein Line’ reported the rumor first that the former MVP could be on the Minnesota Timberwolves’ radar as they are crying out loud for a playmaker. Stein added that other teams will also be interested in Harden.

Interesting yeah.. would certainly be a domino for this team, and the league to a degree as well.
Gotta get a R1 pick back, ideally with a young player and someone like Divicenzo or Jaden McDaniels (probably not? but should be primary ask).

What is the point of this for the Clippers? Clippers goals are to not add salary to 27-28 season unless it's a guy they can use as a building block type guy or good trade asset type player, and then trying to recoup draft picks. You're suggesting they trade 2 draft picks (yes 2nd's, but need them) in order to move expiring contracts and contracts with one more season and then add a year of DeJounte Murray at $30 million, basically all just to get Bey on a cheap contract as that's the only guy that the team would consider useful for the future, but he's already 26, so by the time the team has rebuilt, he's off the timeline.
What's the point?

I think I touched on this before, cap space is not just about what free agents you can sign, it's even better to look at it as mostly about flexibility.
What else can you do with cap space? A team is near one of the aprons, and they need to shed salary. With cap space you can absorb salary for draft capital without having to give up anything.
Cap space can help to add assets. You can be a third team in a trade and say, sure we will help if you give us an asset.
Don't think of cap space as simply a means of signing a free agent outright, that's the wrong mindset, cap space is about flexibility. The Clippers aim should be asset acquisition.
That player you get in the cap saving move, you can then also flip them to another team and have more trade options due to cap space, and get more assets.
Mid level players if you sign them to decent contracts can become trade assets to help another team get better for a price. You're looking at guys like Davion Mitchell, you're exploring the cost of trying to steal away a Lu Dort. You're looking at guys on trend who might have an overload at there position, maybe a Keldon Johnson. These are guys that on their own won't win you a lot of games, but when your team gets better are good complimentary players and culture setters.
What you're definitely not doing is trading away ANY sort of draft capital for guys you wouldn't build with like Poole or Murray or guys who you can just get as a FA the next year (Bey) since you now have cap space.

Except the last sencence, I think our Management disagrees with you. This strategy only become meaningful if you have your own draft picks to combine those little assets to get as much talent from the draft as possible. We dont have our own 1st rd picks till 2030 draft so doing all the little things you mentioned-getting 2nd 3rd tier of assets-while 1st tier assets of our own going to OKC and Sixers are no bueno.
They will use those cap space to sign big FA's or trade for them while they are in their current team disagreed on extension(Trae like). The names I mentioned are the ones in 2026 FA likely change teams and unfortunately non of them are top 50 player in this league.
It looks like that cap space we are building will have very little options such as the outside of top 50 players(post above) or all-stars that proven that not enough to make you a contender.

You can do both concurrently if smart. Yes, the front office is looking for a star of course because there's no value to tanking until you own your own picks. That's a lose/lose, where you have no hope and no winning.
They likely need to be able to get two stars (or one and still keep one of the current older stars), because one guy without a decent supporting cast isn't winning much and guys aren't going to go to teams for that.
They could for example try to get a guy like Donovan Mitchell, try to get another star with him and fill out the rest of the roster. Then you have a team that might be able to compete a little bit, so you're not just losing to no avail until 2030.

Wouldn’t the clippers have to take some players back in trade to match salaries?

With DJJ out for another 6 weeks, maybe the clippers should look into reacquiring Coffey- he plays that role well and it seems like Milwaukee hardly uses him

Former Clips G-League standout. Did well with the Nets last season. Should help out anywhere he gets time.. wouldn't mind him at all on the bench as a switch-up-look SF/PF.
The New York Knicks waived Tosan Evbuomwan on Wednesday, sources told Ian Begley of SNY.
Evuomwan averaged 7.4 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.4 assists in over 50 career NBA games.
The Knicks thought highly of the 24-year-old, though the team had no pathway to get him playing time.
Evuomwan should garner interest from several NBA teams.

With recent AD injury, i think Mavs about the tank hard. Klay&Boogie trade might be interesting. Klay' contract nex year guaranteed unless like Bogdan' hence might be enough for Dallas to downgrade in talent level.
Klay still the better shooter and have that respect and more importantly is available.

I'm thinking Cam Thomas in the Jordan Miller role.
Grant Williams and Tre Mann for Bogie and CP3.
Bogie and KB for Jonathan Issac.
