And of course, provided Giannis is healthy.

I agree the Knicks have no shot as currently constructed. Ultimately it's all up to the Brunsons, in conjunction with Leon Rose. Whatever the 3 of them decide is what will happen.

The trade restriction is off Turner's contract as of today.

Could be a 4 for 4 swap:
- Giannis, Turner, Kuzma & Anthony for Towns, OG, Robinson & McBride

Also saves NYK $6M, and a lot more in tax.

Not much left for Knicks? TURNER is washed.. who starts for Knicks after this?

Turner is a better fit for the Knicks beside Giannis, than Robinson would be.

Starters: Turner, Giannis, Bridges, Hart & Brunson
Bench: Kuzma, Clarkson, Yabusele, Kolek/Anthony

Honestly though, true to Knicks form, they will rely heavily on their starters.

That’s a disgusting bench, but that team comes out of the East.

Giannis overplayed his hand. Might be the first time I agree with Perkins but Giannis is being a coward. Just come out and ask for a trade. He doesn't have to start going scorched earth like Jimmy or even Dame to a lesser extent. Just do it respectfully and say you don't see a viable way the Bucks can complete, which is pretty much a fact for the foreseeable future.

Making passive aggressive comments each offseason, or making your intentions known through Chris Haynes (who is related to his wife) is a bitch move. Just man up and ask for what you clearly want.

You are your agent's biggest and most lucrative client, but maybe he's talking to the Bucks about uprooting you from your home for the last 12 years, without your knowledge? And you are so nonchalant about it? LOL.

We saw this play out with Dame, where he couldn't bring himself to ask out because he publicly played that loyal card too forcefully. Apparently the Bucks are operating under the assumption that they can keep him if he doesn't explicitly ask out, in person, which he is seemingly scared to do. And now they're going to go out and somehow acquire someone LaVine or DeRozan, which will just sink their team even further.

I wonder if this cowardice to publicly ask for anything, would deter teams from actually wanting to trade for him. Do they want to deal with this when he would be on their team?

Almost every star/superstar that has wanted out ends badly and it has almost never stopped other teams wanting to go after the player for a reason. No one looks at the Bucks situation thinking "ya, I wouldnt want a top 3 player in the NBA" lol.

I just watched the whole video and it's bad. He is 100% gone. Not sure who decided it was a good idea to trot him out there but all he did was make things worse. Bucks fans have already accepted the fact he wants out.

I don't know why ... but Giannis doesn't strike me as the type of guy that's gonna force the Bucks to trade him to a specific team.

We gotta go all-in for Giannis.

100%. How dumb did he think people were going to be thinking his agent is allowed to go rogue by speaking to the Bucks management about his future there.

The way I took it the agent went to ownership and said you promised to put out a contender so get ready to trade us where we want. Thats why we heard rumors of the Bucks trying more to keep him but we all know thats a losing battle considering what they have left asset wise.

We had a slim chance with Masai but almost a 0 chance without him. Our owner fired Masai due to a personal vendetta, which Giannis isnt going to be too fond of.

If there was somehow a way to get him then im trading Poeltl to the Warriors to reroute Kuminga to the Bucks and roll with a Barnes/Giannis/Ingram front court.

100% agreed. He's so caught up in looking good in the eyes of the fans that he won't admit that he clearly wants out. If your agent is working this without your consent that'd be bonkers haha

In all due respect to those guys, but that's not exactly "big game hunting." None of those guys really move the needle, and the Bucks would also have to give up real assets to get them.

The whole attempt to avoid looking bad is so pointless. No matter what it will be taken badly. People will end up hating on his regardless on how it is done and this isn’t fooling anyone either. He is portraying himself as just wanting to win but Haynes got sun and big market as things he’s looking for as well as contention. Bucks are 0 for 3. If he wants Miami, it is pretty obvious Sun, taxes and market are his main priorities because they are not exactly wrapping themselves in glory right now. That is what I think he is having a hard time with. He wants to go to the Heat but their recent performance lays bare it isn’t all about winning and he is worried that if it is obvious that it’s the other stuff too, he will look like he’s crapping on Milwaukee. He needs the Heat to go on a run.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

Antetokounmpo clearly does not want to be the one to initiate something he knows needs to happen. Instead he is keeping everyone involved stuck in this paranoid limbo where they have to pretend either to believe Kyle Kuzma can turn the woeful Bucks around or that Antetokounmpo is totally cool wasting the remainder of his prime on a rotten team. His eventual, probably inevitable departure will cause everyone pain, but he's already brought Milwaukee a title, and deep down all but the most hardened Bucks fanatic knows this sinking ship can't be brought into port. The only thing that will lead to legitimate, lasting resentment is for Antetokounmpo to go on waffling like this. It's time, man.

Crazy how much we gaslit players into thinking asking for a trade makes you a bad person.

Really? Most role players really don’t ask for trades. It’s just stars and increasingly they’re more than happy throwing their weight around.
Giannis is just a legit nice guy. But he’s gonna take the bull by the horns here. He doesn’t owe anything to the media or even the fans. But if he hasn’t asked the bucks FO then he should just man up and give them 3-5 teams names and do it by trade deadline.
