The reason they brought him in was to fit around Barnes… Barnes was supposed to be the playmaker and he was supposed to be the gunner. The problem isn’t quickley, the problem is how they use him. He’s a shooter/scorer combo guard. I’ve said this before but he’s more of a curry light type player and I’m pretty sure he said he even studies curry or models his game after curry or something like that.

He’s not a tradtiional pg I’m not sure why people keep complaining about this. It seems every year people complain about players being things they’re not… we don’t need quickley to be a traditional pg, we need him to score efficiently… we don’t need dick to be a defender we need him to be a 40% knockdown shooter… etc etc .

Nets starting 5 have a better defensive rating than our starting 5 lmao.

And one of the best offenses in the league and most importantly a +5 NRTG

And a tanking team in the nets have a 4.3+ NRTG.

When that C is stretched out guarding Sarr on the 3 point lineit wouldn’t make much of a difference who it was out there.

Paint points don’t automatically mean it was the C who would have prevented them. Especially tonight when you see how WAS scores them
