Yeah, Jalen Johnson shouldn’t have deferred to him for those last possessions. This team is yours, you’re the best player now. Trae might be your OG for the last few years but you’ve outgrown him.

JJ has become something quite special, for sure. And Trae... he just has so little as a scorer when the 3 isn't falling, and he made some sloppy plays around his good stuff. If he could commit more to the low-volume scorer, high-volume playmaker archetype, he'd be much better off at this point.

When he's healthy, he's always been an excellent defender and a sound player. We miss him on our roster, for sure.

Yeah Hawks on a 6 game losing streak since Trae came back is clearly not a coincidence. I'd be very shocked if he makes it past the trade deadline

Ive had a lot of draft misses but I was super high on Keyonte and the Jazz basically did what I was saying about turning him into a point guard to offset his defense and chucking. But I knew he was the type of player the Raptors would never draft unfortunately

That’s why it’s funny to read all the overreactions. I mean I get it, we primarily follow the Raptors and the Raptors only. But we also need to pay attention to what is going on around the league.

Still unfortunately went from the 4th seed to the 5th cause Orlando won tonight.

We need to win these next 2 games otherwise there’s a good chance we fall to the play in spots.

I would not add draft capital other than a SRP or 2 and the fit isn't perfect with his horrid D but it's a talent upgrade nonetheless. I obviously wouldn't extend him either though, it's not the worst situation if he even declined his player option but I think that's unlikely. Not sure what the Hawks will do with him at this point, he is clearly not a fit for them but he's also not really a fit anywhere else either.
