You mean calendar year? Doubt they're shutting him down for 4+ months. I can see reevaluating him after the all star break as a worst case scenario.

only reason to shut him down now would be back surgery. otherwise it will be on and off issue for the year.

Grange was first to bring up Mo Bamba as an option for the backup C spot so maybe he's been fed some good info here.

Dont you guys find it funny that injuries like Poeltl almost never happen during a contract year?

Somehow these guys have healthier bodies when theres tons of money on the line and become more injury prone once they sign longterm...

CMB is back today, Poeltl is the only on-going issue, RJ's situation is just a matter of bringing him back slowly, so he will be available for Denver on Wednesday.
