Scottie not even cracking the top 20 is laughable and embarrassing.
Our fanbase has lost the passion.

Sad to see really…

It's not even so much the Raps fanbase. BI being 12th and Scottie not even on the list shows that all people care about are points and big names. But that's what All Star voting has always been. Hopefully the coaches are a bit smarter than that when it comes to choosing reserves.

I have voted every single day for Scottie, BI, Norm, Pascal, Shai and Jamal Murray.

The fans were more excited to cheer on Steph yesterday.
Organization can be defined as an organized body of people with a particular purpose. Not random.

Absolutely pathetic from Raptors fans that Scottie isn't even top 20

Knicks have their entire starting lineup on there......OG wouldn't even be on the list if he was still with the Raptors

How many of you would tune into Raptor games to watch Scottie Barnes play if you weren’t Raptor fans? Be honest.

I think this has more to do with how the voting is done rather than disinterest by Raptors fans or hate for Scottie.

You need an "NBA ID" or the NBA App to vote, and there is just much less reason for Canadians to have either compared to Americans.

to add to this point: if you were a fan of another team and they were playing the raptors, which player do you think you'd pick as the all star on the roster? the fans clearly have voted ingram and i'm not sure why that's a bad thing? they both play for the raps.

Even sitting at 19-14 there is very little excitement about the team. And we know they are frauds at the end of the day.

East is ass, Tatum and Hali are both injured, so Barnes/Ingram might get some consideration as reserves.

It's on us to vote Scottie in, like we used to do for Lowry and DeMar. Not non-Raptors fans.

Hart, Giddey, Butler, JJ are all up there. You're telling me you're tuning into their games to watch them play?

The fact that Scottie is not even top 20 in voting goes to show that this fanbase has lost its passion. We were once one of the best fanbases in the league, that is no longer the case.

Our crowds during games are dead. We went from being one of the loudest arenas to one of quietest ones. Many reasons for that, but the biggest one being we've sucked for the last few years.

It’s really this simple.

Your average fan isn’t looking up advanced stats or cares tbh. Therefore BI looks like the obvious choice.

No viewer of the Raptors is thinking wow this team is so good they deserve two all stars.

Case closed.

ingram is 12th in votes. do you think that was non-raps fans voting for him or raps fans voting for him? if it's the latter it's a bit rude because the fanbase is still passionate and they've voted for their all star.

Yeah the board is very dead compared to before. A part of the reason seems to be that the league is down in general. No one likes this 3pt chuckfest that Silver has turned the league into. General fans like grittiness. Low scoring games where buying buckets is tough and you grind it out in the post or mid range. Then there's also more back and forth / lead changes. That captures more interest.

You make a valid point regarding Hart, Giddy, Butler and JJ. I do agree most of this is Raptor fans not gaf about Barnes, not the fault of non-Raptor fans.

And that ties back to my original point. I don’t think people are moved, inspired, or that excited to watch Scottie - including Raptor fans.

Does Scottie deserve to make it? Probably.

Do fans (Raptors or non Raptors) care to go out of their way to watch him? No, and I doubt they ever will.

I also think there’s a Jays hangover effect happening in Toronto. Their playoff run was so magical and captivating to watch. The inconsistent and hard to watch nature of the Raptors makes it very hard to care for them right now.

its mainly non-raps fans that spiked up Ingram's votes. He's still a very popular player around the league and a fan favorite from his Lakers days. 1mil+ followers on instagram.

I mean, they're one of the most popular teams in the league, and they're actually good.
