Did we ever get an update on his ankle injury? Assuming its not bad at all considering he was able to come out and sit on the bench the rest of that game.

Also I understand why but I find the level of monitoring and concern for Miles injury vs Kon's injury being so different hilarious

Soon to be hornets 3rd all time leading scorer. Been pretty damn good lately as well. Deep ball needs to go down more though.

in an absolutely perfect world for this team he would be our 6th man leading our bench unit with Sexton and we would have a longer more defensive minded pf... or a stretch 5 with Moose as the mobile defensive PF.
miles would still be in the closing unit most likely in this scenario.

That being said he's been playing well lately. and Lee has been using him a lot with Sexton with bench unit anyway.

Agree, but don’t have confidence in the role you project for Moose. Why? Moose cannot manage the ball well enough. Despite his propensity to grab rebounds, his handle and hands betray him with too many turnovers. His passing is also suspect. And, of course his shooting is limited to 6’ or less on floaters. This team needs two quality bigs if Miles comes off the bench.

Still, as players go, Miles gives us better minutes than some teams get with their 4’s. Only way we can add a better big (center or PF) in trade is by giving up some of those first round picks. Could we snag a better one with a miles and picks as our offering?
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

Miles is better than we often give him credit for. I would like a second bigger PF though. Maybe TJ becomes that but we need a vet too.

Upgrading Center is a lot more important to me than upgrading Bridges.
Even if you move Miles to the bench you still will get 25+ mpg so that doesn't leave a ton of mins to fill at 4.

Guys averaging 20 ppg, 6 rpg, 3apg
Luka, Jokic, Brown, Giannis, Kawhi, Cade, Deni, MPJ, Wemby, Siakam, Jalen Johnson, Embiid, Franz, Randle, Ingram, Sengun, Paolo, Trey Murphy and Miles Bridges.

That is 19 guys in the entire league doing that. He has flaws, but it is not like there are 80 players who do what he does that make sub 10 million per year. He actually is the cheapest player on this list by AAV.

Some ridiculous dunks and clutch boards. Think he's happy to be around after the trade deadline?

For all the hate coach Lee has gotten, has he found a way to make Miles effective defensively?

Feels like he is getting lost less

Always plays. Mostly always solid. If it wasn’t for his off the court issues everyone would adore this man.

He used to always lose his player on team defense under Clifford, seeing significant improvement under Charles. He still has the occasional dumb play, but it feels like part of Charlottes theme is to allow players to make those aggressive errors on offense

Aye caramba. I think this off season/next trade deadline we need to replace Miles with a better PF who is a more mature and self aware. PF is a bigger need then C IMHO.

He just…won’t….take that next step.

Forever adolescent. Still hasn’t learned how to use a condom. Whatever…I guess I just don’t understand.

He plays hard for the team, makes his successful moments + plenty of mistakes, and at 27 remains an incomplete player. Trade him Jeffie. You had offers for him at the deadline but you said he earned the right to see this through this season along with the others. Hopefully he does well enough that his trade value remains.

IDK, I feel like Moose could play the 4 long-term if we find a complimentary 5. We also drafted Salaun to play PF, so I still think a center is the more glaring need, depending on how we deploy PF.

Also, Miles has found his groove on the court. He's no longer depended upon to be the 2nd option out there. Being the 4th option suits him better, with the potential to light it up on any given night and be the man. If he keeps his head straight and continues to ball out this year, I guess this summer would be the best time to trade him while his stock is high. He'll be 28 yo at that point.

what's with Miles?
last 5 games he's shot .000, .167, .000, .286, .200 from 3
that's 13%
that's ugly
also 30% fg%
he's cratering

He's been pretty mediocre offensively for the past month or so. His skillset just doesn't mesh with being a #4 option.

Yeah, I wonder if he’s back into a relationship spiral with some other screw bunny added to the harem? We’ve seen this before when there are outside forces invading his focus. Regardless, it is clear Miles needs a relocation trade this offseason, if that’s even possible. We really need major luck in the draft.

Miles just isn't a good fit for this team. He's trying to be more of a winning player, which is admirable, but he still consistently makes boneheaded mistakes on both sides of the floor every game. If the front office doesn't see it they need to take off the rose-tinted glasses they're wearing.
