i don't disagree, CMB will go through ups and downs. Plus he's not a real center and we've have tried to use players of this ilk as full time centers and it didn't go well (cough Precious).
But it's not like Poeltl is playing anyways. He might also just be cooked at this point and the contract is going to look worse and worse.
Yeah I don't know that we can trade that contract right now without attaching some kind of assets. The only way I'm taking a loss is if it seems clear that his value will continue to depreciate, at which point you wonder why any other team would trade for him.
