Be cool if he could just come back instead of acting like its happening every 2 weeks.

Re: Mr Nice Guy: The Grant Williams Thread
I would imagine they would at least send him to Greensboro for a few days to practice before he returns to the court and we haven't seen that. Have we even seen a mention that he was cleared for five on five activities yet? I still think we're several weeks away at the earliest. But it would be a great time to be wrong on this one.

Damn he is keeping up with the hints
Seems very odd for him to be doing this with no announcement at all from the team about his recovery status

Re: Mr Nice Guy: The Grant Williams Thread
did this team pass him by during his time out? don't need him in the starting line up anymore, haven't really seen the value-added heady play from pre-injury, sure he's provides a veteran presence and is still rusty but at this point if he's not the difference maker on this team can those backup minutes be better served giving Tiddy PT?

Yeah, felt this way watching him the last couple of games. He is a great vet, well regarded by his teammates, and who wouldn’t love Grant? But playing him ahead of Tiddy seems misplaced (and I really CANNOT believe I am saying this!). Salaun is growing, has shown flashes of impactful play, and is certainly more active physically. But I’m sure the team and coaches support giving him minutes. He and they probably wondered if he’d ever recover.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

I don't doubt that once Grant works himself into game shape, he's better than Tidjane, and is a situational option at backup 5.
I don't expect much from either player this season anyway though, and would welcome an upgrade via trade.
investigate Adam Silver

I don't expect him to be fully back to 100% until next season, but he has been totally fine.

when healthy Grant should be a smart fit with Kon and other newcomers and bring a different look than Miles at PF
I think of him as older but he is still just 26, younger than Miles, so I think if that leg heals up his return ought to be most welcome
*been a year since the surgery so should be back soon*
8-3 since Grant came back and we suddenly have a good defense to go with a good offense.
6-10 with Grant last year. 13-53 without Grant.

Re: Mr Nice Guy: The Grant Williams Thread
I underestimated his strength. Sengun fully backed into him at one point and just bounced right off.
Williams was not getting moved.
