There is literally no reason to believe Reed would be available.

Chet and J-Dub look great right now because they are still on rookie deals. How will they be viewed on max deals?

In 2 years, the contracts for SGA, Chet, J-Dub and Caruso will eat up most of the team’s space under the tax. It will make it hard to fill in the other roles, unless players are willing to go there on minimum deals.

What SGA will get pissed about is watching their championship calibre team get pulled apart piece by piece.

J-Dub made All-NBA last season, that's not good value on a Max?

Chet probably will win DPOY, that's not good value on a Max?

Lets be honest, J-Dub should not have made all-nba. 21-5-5 is fine #'s, but far from all-nba caliber.

J-Dub and Chet seem like fantastic values when they are surrounded by depth all over the place. How would they look when the team is SGA/Dub/Chet and pretty much a bunch of minimal salaries? They are set to pay $120, $150M, $162M, $173M, and $185M to those 3 guys over the next 5 years. And that last year SGA has an option so the real number will be north of $200M.

Like OKC has this year and next, but after that there will be a serious cap crunch. They probably will need to move off one of JDub or Chet in summer 2027 because that year they have $214M locked up to only 10 players.

Like they'll be fine, but I don't think they can afford to bring back Dort and Hartenstein after next season without making other moves. Unless the owners are ready for a $275M payroll + tax

You can disagree on the merits but he still made it and was 2nd Team All-Defensive Team as well. That's impressive for a 3rd year guy no matter how you look at it.

People probably more down on him because he's been dealing with his wrist issues which has dragged down his shooting numbers even from last season but he still gutted through it and helped them win a Championship. I'm happy to buy low on him if people think he's overrated.

They may have to move one of them but I am saying they will still get really good value for either of those guys because the entire league would be all over them.

There is no "buying low" on someone who made all-nba.

He is currently at an all time high. Put him on any other team and IMO he falters. He is just in a perfect situation to thrive.

He's not having a good season so his stock has dropped a bit.

You think he's already at his peak in year 4?

I think it's more of being the #2 guy behind the MVP on the Champ team is completely different than being the #1 guy on a 4-8 seed.

No, but his stock is at his highest it might ever be. That’s not buying low lol

I think his stock has dropped, a lot of you don't seem all that high on him.
