This has gotta be the least value ive ever seen for an allstar player in his prime. I get Trae's has deficiencies but to go for practically nothing?

Very similar to the Ingram trade.

Injured star player requests a trade to a specific team.
Team trades him to preferred destination for expirings.
Contract extension lined up.

Fantastic trade by the Wiz. Got him for dirt cheap.

And people thought we should’ve traded IQ and Poeltl for Trae. :lol:

Trae’s value is extremely low and is worth very little. He just simply isn’t a winning player and will command a lot of money.

Even I thought he would go for more than this.

agreed. his offensive wizardry really fooled a lot of people that in this inflated offensive era, that his overall game could be overcome his defensive issues.

Siakam, BI, Trae deals just goes to show if u got no leveage as sellers, u get fk all.

Good on the Raps to at least take what they could get and then continue to make moves in order to get a better package later on.

ya there was no way Bobby would be dumb enough to even gain a thought to even get Trae young, even if he was for free. Wizards are known for collecting flawed players and building treadmill teams so this is not really a surprise.
