No he’s not, but that’s irrelevant. If you want him to play more than IQ then he needs to be better than IQ. He’s not. His TS% is like 48%. He’s a horrific offensive player. lol.

Let’s let him develop properly. He’s exceeded expectations but he’s still not a good player.

I’d rather have Sabonis or AD than IQ on our current team present tense. I don’t think Shead is the saviour and I agree he needs to develop more. I do think his archetype of PG works better for our team.

Of course I’d rather have AD. He’s like a top 10 player when healthy.

But Shead doesn’t work better for this team because he’s such a bad offensive player and provides no shooting. It simply doesn’t work with this lineup. IQ is our best shooter, he doesn’t turn the ball over, he’s a steady player and that’s all we need from him.

The concern with Shead is he’s already inefficient against bench lineups. Imagine if we scale up his minutes? It will be ugly.

You know he's at ~.360 on the season and trending up right? Very real chance he finishes the year at his career avg even after starting the year in a slump. And he's doing it on a team with limited spacing and putting up close to career high attempts.

The IQ hate is extreme on this board.

Trending up?

Last 13 games he is shooting 29.3% from 3.

He shot 27.3% tonight from 3.
He shot 33.3% the last 2 games
30.3% the last 3 games

Grateful he hit the shot tonight but he certainly hasn't been trending upwards. He has only shot over 37% from 3 in 3 of his last 13 games. He is our best shooter, he needs to be better.

But hey, he finally passed Barnes and has tied RJ in 3pt shooting. So that's good.

It's very strange to me that IQ was the one apparently getting all the criticism during the game and not our highest paid player who looked like he was medicated all night.

We really got people being indignant after IQ hit that game-winner

Some of you just can't be happy for our guys when they show up in-game if the statline looks funky. F*cking hell. We won. Enjoy it.

That Ingram injury could be very bad news
Could very well be a long term injury

I was referencing trend from the beginning of the season. He was at 32% for the first 10 games of the year. But you're right, did not realize how bad the current slump was.

Source?

If so Darko better start feeding Dick some minutes.

The team will go absolutely no where with splitting it between ochai, walter and dick. They need to get him to at least get 15 of the 25 Ingram would give you every night

He needs to develop. The cieling is higher for Dick vs Ochai and Walter

We're all used to Scottie taking a night off every 5 or so games at this point. And in his defense (which I don't come to often...), his highs are much higher than IQs which helps him navigate the lows with the fan base.

Both guys have unrealistic expectations on them - by both the fans and the franchise. And the franchise didn't do them any favors by handing them the keys prematurely.

All good. In the end, I want him to succeed. We need his shooting...especially if BI misses any time.

We can withstand 1 out of the 4 guys having bad games. We won't withstand 1 out then 1 having a bad game....as we saw during RJ being out. Because we just don't have the bench scoring to rescue us.

As well with RJ too and felt like that shot at the Kawhi shot to send Sixers home at that last minute shot.

Yup. We need to make some sort of move at the deadline. There just isn't enough points on the roster to withstand any of our scorers missing games. But our starting lineup is so expensive that I don't know how you fully solve for it.

That's what I expected this offseason.

With Barnes, RJ, Quickley, and Ingram, if 1 or 2 guys have a night off the other one or two will step up. Thats the beauty of this roster.
Its been the case a lot of times this season, except there's a new twist our offense being **** without RJ

What a shot by Quick and a great screen by Scottie.

Scottie got away with the Kevin Garnett special

IQ was better than Scotty in this game. He never stopped fighting and worked tirelessly. Yet there is still a fixation on his faults/miscues.

It's an obvious bias. It really is some golden child ish.

I thought IQ had actually a decent game (but bad from 3 pt). But he made two defensive mistakes in the clutch before redeeming himself. He also missed a 3 (too quick taken in the shot clock) in the clutch. I am happy for him though that he made it.

RJ... was clutch, and beast. We had no business winning this game but he carried us there.

Yeah I saw the replay - probably ignored to make up for all the **** non calls and calls on Mamu

Officiating has been a major problem for as long as I can rememeber which makes the games more frustrating to watch vs other sports

I am a bit confused as to why Shead was on the floor during the final offensive possession of the game.

1 second on the game clock, down by 2 - wouldn’t you want your best shooters out there?

Maybe someone can explain Darko’s logic behind that to me.
