Wow... thats a drastic step considering the team was playing good basketball recently. Lets see how Ball's ego handles this. Kudos to him for still being a great teammate even when he gets benched in close games.

I would easily do Ball for IQ, Dick + pick.

I agree he has no source but hes right. Trading for AD creates a massive hole at PG or SG. We've already seen this team falter without RJ because of how frappy our SGs are.

Not only that, we all know no team in the NBA wants a mid Center at 28M for 3 seasons who is 30 years old and already has back issues lol.

Yeah I agree we shouldn't trade RJ for AD. Just find it funny when Josh references his "sources".

A 26 year old UFA who is having a down year...

Its like when the Warriors would continually DNP Kuminga but want multiple 1st round picks for him.

If Ellis was so valuable then why the hell was he catching DNPs and playing so little for such a crappy team whos been injury plagued too.

The Kings coach is an idiot and Steve Kerr straight up hates Kuminga lol.

He may be an idiot, but Ellis is also having a terrible year to start (after two good ones).

Still not sure it makes sense to trade for a 26 year old UFA who is underperforming.

Trey is great, I just don't know how he fits into the roster. Clearly he can fit in any roster, with his style of game, but is what the Raps would be losing from their starting lineup, hurt more? One of their starters would need to go in the deal.

I always thought the Spurs would try and get into the TM3 & Zion deals. The Spurs could really fill out their front court obtaining both of them, and they have the contracts they can move (Vessell, Barnes, etc.) along with other attractive assets, to make the deal happen.

That's why I think it should be IQ going the other way instead of RJ in a hypothetical trade. Trey replaces all of IQ's 3 point shooting along with all the other stuff he can do. Moving RJ would mean we still lack rim pressure in this offense. I would also target Alvarado in the deal, think he and Shead makes a decent enough PG tandem especially defensively and you can throw in some non PG lineups too, Project 6"9 can make a comeback but might actually work this time.

Trey Murphy III means RJ is going the over way. The roster doesn’t work any other way, so I don’t believe it unless the Raptors are looking to add draft capital for a slight upgrade.

PG, SG or C are the only positions the Raptors can really acquire player as I think the other two are set. In order to get Trey Murphy III you would need to play him at the 2 or 3 and Ingram is still here, so that only leaves RJ.
