i thought maxey iced it with that 3 in the 4th but this year’s raptors don’t quit. no embiid and pg but we’re rolling down jak, rj, bi. really love the aggression from scottie and cmb down low, no soft finishes down the stretch.

CMB and Barnes did really well together.

Quickley... I feel safer if he just shoots it in catch-and-shoot situation without hesitation, make-or-miss, than if he tries to do something dribbling inside the 3-point line. Not quite the tunnel vision but he's surprisingly lack the vision and awareness at times especially down the stretch. You are a shooter, just shoot.

He did break his man off the dribble for the go ahead dime to CMB in the clutch

How do we win that

We’ve seen enough Scottie to know he won’t. I just hope he carries enough while Ingram/RJ are out.

Can we GoFundMe Gradey's ticket out of town? Jk

Seriously though, Martin is a beast defensively. I've been saying since the draft.

When Darko put him on Maxey, Maxey had that same look of frustration on his face that Derozan did the first time he faced a Chicago Bulls rookie named Jimmy Butler. Like "who the heck does this kid think he is"? Loved it.

IQ had the second best +/- (+13)

20 points (6/22 though)
7 assists
5 rebounds
4 steals

Still a pretty bad game for him. His confidence is at an all-time low.
Need him to be better.

That's a shame.

... I was someone who really wanted him to succeed. We really need that type of skillset.

He just... sucks.

Im still rooting for bro

I remember I thought he was a lost cause who couldn't even turn it around in the G league then he straight up surprised everyone.

I dont think anyone from the bench will keep it consistent. Martin I think is different he got that dog in him like Shead

Missing 3 starters was just hoping we'd keep it close.

Battled HARD, heady play on the missed FT to end it.

Masai wanted Maluach. Bobby overrode the decision.

You can thank Masai for bums like Dick, Walter, Chomche

Randle McMurphy wrote:There's very little downside to missing there

At best Philly would have had about 0.4 left and they would have probably ended up taking a 3 anyway

Only risk is a foul under the basket on the rebound (which I expect the refs wanted to call but weren't ready for it just like Philly was)

Nurse/Maxey/Refs in shambles

Not sure it's even possible to catch the rebound, gain possession and call TO with 0.8 seconds, probably would have run it down to under 0.3 seconds even if it were done. Even a deflection out of bounds might end the game, so the risk is pretty much all in a foul call or not hitting the rim on the FT.

that's the thing with him. i try to give him a break because he's also the only starter with a role outside of his comfort zone.
having said that, he had a pretty bad game tonight. he should be able to do more given 3 starters are out right now. cant put all the pressure on barnes.
martin, shead and cmb all brought a little something extra. cant let the bench guys outshine you like that.

Martin and CMB ladies and gentlemen! We are one good upgrade away from being an actual scary team.

IQ, Dick, and Ochai for a solid starting guard, and you’re set. Lamelo maybe? Because our defence is good enough to use him

Lamelo/Shead
RJ/Martin
Ingram/Walker
Barnes/Mamu
Poeltl/CMB

Lamelo’s playmaking is perfect for this team
