Would go with Ja if the alternative is AD. Ja is 26yo, so at least there'd be hope of him reaching that superstardom again. AD is just a depressing trade idea.

I think if Raps going for win now. Country for both Ja and Sabonis or Ja and Davis. Why hold back. The contracts all expire the same time. So if things really don’t work. You got a ton of cap space, which you can do what Brooklyn did by absorbing guys like Porter junior while getting draft capital. You could try to sign a FA or two. To me if the outbound draft capital is not horrible yohbrole the dice and you can still do a reset. Great thing is at that time Barns is 25-26 and still young so you can still build around him by washing ourselves clean from the current roster.
The worst thing to do is stay with the current roster draft another guy and go from 50 win team to 55 win team but still get eliminated in the first or second round forth next two years.
In the NBA you play to win and not to be upper middle class.
