That will relieve pressure off of Ware having to develop so fast. And have an perennial all star offensive big man to play against to help him develop. Gives Bam a proven veteran big to play next to.
PG: Herro - Mitchell - Jakucionis
SG: Powell
SF: Larsson - Jamie
PF: Davis - Jovic
Ce: Adebayo - Ware
AD moves the needle more than Morant because of the force he is defensively. I could get down with this trade

Herro also missed so many dudes cutting towards the basket on entry passes from pelle and jovic.
Herro has been especially selfish last few games like hes trying to make up for lost time but it's costing us points. He also didnt give the ball to pelle on a 2-1 breakaway, who was ahead of him, and then two celtic defenders chased him down from behind and he went up for a contested layup vs 3 Celtics and got blocked and ball went off of him.
Truly bad basketball. Hes still an elite scorer but his passing touch these past games and his decision making has been piss poor.

Yeah that one fast break was especially egregious. He turned into Boy Blunder on that one

This is going to become Kuminga and Kerr 2.0. If i’m Ware’s agent i’m asking for a trade right now

I'm forgiving of younger players but I'll admit my patience is running thin on Ware, and to a degree Jovic as well. Part of this is local beat writers doing what they do of trying to stir up **** but Spo should not have to publicly call you out 2-3 times to get on your game, and I dont even know if Ware mentally is built for that.

Ja was always a long shot in terms of the FO being aligned on a risk move. But I do think it would be hilarious if Bucks get Ja and it works out so well that it solidifies Giannis staying longterm. Considering Miami couldve ended up with both - losing out on both would be poetic.

I dont really see those guys as a fit, but I guess if you’re the Bucks you gotta see what sticks. Hell I wouldnt even want to see a Ja/Giannis/Bam trio

i dont want to judge Spo on how he treats Ware. I know from my own experience, you have to treat players individually unique. Part of coaching is knowing that players personality and what makes him click. You cant judge based on your own feelings, hell sometimes **** you dont like can get the most out of you. The outcome and as long as Spo intentions are good is all that matters.

I don't doubt Spo's intentions, I just dont think Ware has the dog in him to respond in the way you'd expect a guy to after being called out - and I'd love to be wrong about that but there were signs in the summer league.

Wait, Ja expires in 2028 so I don’t understand the report that we don’t want him because we’re trying to keep the books clean for that summer

Mike just repeated the report he made back in December. He says it in his report, its not anything new or current.

Wont shock me if he ends up back in golden state..
Lakers may have been interested during the offseason.. right now, theyre just looking for players that can hit a 3 point shot at a high rate.. theyre the worst shooting team in the league.. they be brickin at a high rate

If we dont get ja or giannis, id be equally optimistic if the Heat just blows it up and stack picks by the deadline.. id be like okay, they really want to turn the page and start fresh again.
Its too bad we created another unmovable contract in Jovic.. good lord, what the **** were we thinking..

lol....
Yes, it would be funny if an extremely unlikely thing happens. Nevermind that Giannis got paired with a better player (Dame) with a better fitting game (great 3-point shooter) and that was an awkward fit that failed for the most part even before Dame's injury. Now you have a worse player, with questions on the court AND off the court, that hasn't even been good for 3 years.
I'm sure that's going to be a fantastic fit and the Heat will regret it dearly.
If anything, Ja blowing up Milwaukee might be the final straw that convinces Giannis to leave lmao

Btw, in reference to the frustration with the Heat constantly waiting for guys to enter free agency, yes its boring as a fan. I think at a certain point it would be preferable for them to at least pull a mini tank, don't be a perpetual tanker but at least infuse the franchise with a high lottery pick every now and then.
But the alternative is you are the 2000-2020 era Knicks, going after every single name available and sabotaging one of the easiest situations to land players in basketball, never actually being able to get the good players when they're available because you've so sullied your franchises reputation. It could be so, so much worse.
