Seems like a ready made NBA star..but I wouldnt take any Bill Self wing prospect top 5 and maybe even top 10

Dybantsa has some really interesting skills, but I’m again leaning DP for #1. Just too good of a scorer to pass on.

Chicken-Egg.
Bill Self isn't destroying players. The one's who turn up stinkers were never going to be good anyways. Despite being top 5 or whatever coming out of High School. If you are a legit good and talented player who would've normally went on to become a NBA star. One year playing under a certain coach won't suddenly make you a bad player.
Players are out injured for a whole year and come back just as strong. You think playing under Self is worse than being out a year with a torn ACL and MCL?

Gilbert Arenas vibes as a scorer.

He's had too many prospects for it to be a random data point

It’s a ridiculous theory for any coach. Bill Self isn’t the reason Gradey Dick can’t make shots. He’s also not the reason Christian Braun got 125 million. Players gotta play.

Does anyone happen to have a link to a full recording of the Baylor game?

Starting to become a believer in Peterson for #1. He looks so good off the dribble.

Has he though?

Kansas really doesn't get many true five stars. Peterson is the best they've gotten since Wiggins probably.

https://247sports.com/college/kansas/season/2025-basketball/commits/

2024 - Flory Bidunga (14th rank)
2023 - no one in the top 15 - Johnny Furphy (35)
2022 - no one in the top 20 - Gradey Dick (21)
2021 - no one in the top 70
2020 - no one in the top 20
2019 - no one in the top 45

In fact, going back and looking, the star power he's recruited is even more scarce than I remember. So he doesn't really ruin top five guys, since he never lands them.
