It will be interesting to see how Jakucionis is implemented when Mitchell and Jaquez is back. Both take up all of the ball handling responsibilities.

Heat had 111 shot attempts
OKC had 77 shot attempts

We only won by 2 points. Believing in this team still is some high delusion.

Herro out

Herro, who has played in only 11 of the Heat’s first 42 games, did not accompany the team to San Francisco on Sunday and will get an MRI on an injured rib that sidelined him for Saturday’s win against Oklahoma City. The Heat is listing the injury as a rib contusion. Herro missed the first 17 games of the season due to offseason ankle surgery and 13 games because of a toe contusion and now will miss multiple games because of the rib issue. While Herro is listed as out, Mitchell (shoulder) and Jaquez Jr. (knee) are probable for Monday’s game against the Warriors after each missing the past two games. Terry Rozier (facing federal charges), Vlad Goldin (G-League assignment) and Jahmir Young (G-League) remain out.

I mean to be fair there’s reasons for the shot discrepancy and at the end of the day we found a way to beat the best team in the league. I don’t think anyone thinks this current form of the team is winning anything meaningful

We probably win by a bigger margin if JJJ was available and had we DNP Jovic who was his usual useless self

You have to wonder will there be a point where because of Herro injuries that he will finish the season as a sixth man?

They can’t justify putting him back in the starting 5 if the TRUE goal is to win.

Genuinely curious to see if a team offers anything worthwhile like a 1st for Herro this deadline.

Don’t think Milwaukee would want him after all the injuries and incoming extension talks.

Team pulled out a gutsy win with almost 75M in dead money (herro, rozier, and jovic) on the bench.

They showed alot of heart.

They've tried herro with the bench and it doesnt work. That unit is Jaime's unit. And making him an off ball player for herro seems like a bad idea.

Imo, herro will continue to start. They'll probably string herro, powell, and bam together and wiggins, pelle, and jaime together.

He's the second highest paid player on the team who is looking for an extension. And hes still one of the 5 most talented players on the roster. Remember, he was public with his displeasure a few weeks ago when he came off the bench. . That's the justification.

Herro’s value has definitely dropped this season. I’m not even sure what teams would be willing to take him on, let alone the Bucks in a Giannis deal. Still, if we could get a solid defensive player or a reliable backup center in return, that wouldn’t be bad.

Heat need frontcourt depth and he'd fit great.

I'm just tired of every game a narrative being pushed. This has been my least favorite Heat season in the past 20ish years, the 07-08 season was more fun cause at least everyone knew we sucked and were on the same page.

Seeing Wiggins and Larsson switching back and forth on defenders and awesome sight to see. Its better than watching Tucker and Butler. With Mitchell returning, the Heat maybe can get back to being in the top three in defense. And hopefully Jakucionis takes Smith minutes.

Imagine waiting for a player who publicly stated he will not ask for a trade……

This is why teams like the Celtics won a title the last few years. Their front office makes deals to improve now and not rinse and repeat the same “Hope we get our guy” we been in that exact scenario since we got Jimmy. How do they have no shame?
