:(

He's too good and the Raptors are doing too well. :-? Maybe falling to the 6th seed, might give them a pick around #16?

Maybe he can be Dirk 2.0? Really, I can see him at least as JV 2.0 that can shoot the 3 much earlier in development.

Maybe a rich man's Maxime Reynaud? I really like his toughness and assertiveness. Especially given how skinny he is. He does not shy away from contact. I think his defensive reads on switches need to get much better (he should probably play drop only), but he's smart enough that I think it will at the next level.

All the smoke makes me think we won't have our pick after the deadline.

If we do keep it, I don't have a lot of hope that my top guys: Carr, Veesaar, Lendeborg, or Acuff will still be there.

I'm looking at Ryan Nembhard, KJ Simpson and Tyler Kolek as smaller/non-thick guards. Including Tanner, all four have pretty good college %'s.

What separates Nembhard's game carrying over better than Kolek/Simpson?

Cam Boozer is looking like one of the top 5 prospects in the last 20 years. And I thought Cooper Flagg's production as a freshman was crazy.

Pretty crazy top 3. Boozers production and domination at the college level is impressive. I still think he's solidly 3rd, and locked into that spot. Dybansta and Peterson just have that NBA superstar game. Boozer is tougher to see his game translating to NBA in the same way.

Boozer looks like a better playmaking mix of Banchero and MPJr. I think he's the safer pick to not get you fired.

Agreed that Dybansta and Peterson have NBA Superstar potential. Though maybe Boozer is the next Karl Malone?

Boozer is #1 for me by a large margin so far.

So I haven't been following the 2026 draft prospects. Is it worth keeping our pick (say #14-20, but hopefully top 5 as a tWo supporter)?
I acknowledge and thank the lək̓ʷəŋən peoples of the Songhees, Esquimalt and W̱SÁNEĆ First Nations for allowing me to live, work and play on their unceded traditional territories.

Probably the strongest draft in the last twenty years. Can get an impact player with good scouting in the 20s quite easily imo.

Yeah like it's not even close for me anymore between Boozer/Peterson/Dybantsa. And that's no disrespect to the other 2. Boozer has just been that insanely good. Assuming he keeps up this crazy production, he might even end up in the "Best Draft Prospect of All Time" conversation.

Cooper Flagg's insane freshman season was just last year, also at Duke, and Boozer's freshman season is easily overshadowing it.

Seeing how well Mamu is doing in the offense, imagine having a legit 7 footer lob threat that shoots over 40% from 3. Veesaar!!!!

If we lose games here and there and end up 6th seed in the east that would be the best for playoff revenue and a draft pick in the mid to late teens. 8-)

Should get one of Wagler, Carr or Veesaar.

I think Wagler could be Haliburton 2.0. Carr could be mini Paul George.

1. Wagler
2. Veesaar
3. Carr

With the 2nd pick, not sure Joshua Jackson will be there. Would trade up. He could be a poor man's Scottie Barnes. He just put up a triple-double with ZERO turnovers!!! This is his 2nd triple double of the season!

People sleeping on Boozer. He's gonna be like one of these modern, high feel Euro stars.

Definitely see the Halliburton comp on offense for Wagler, but he's not a comparable defender at the same stage.

Carr is my guy, despite our roster glut. He can definitely reach George level imo, with the qualifier that he needs to get stronger and develop a much better handle to hit that ceiling. His midpoint ceiling to me is Zach Lavine with defensive effort. He has all the physical tools and mentality to be an elite defender. He just needs better technique and understanding.
