Or if we start IQ and Shead together that makes our backcourt tiny. With the injuries and the roster we have we’re kind of stuck right now.

I would start playing Lawson/ Battle/ Martin over those two. Even for the sake of development & team chemistry.

Those two have been given a ton of opportunity & nothing is changing.

I hope they are both moved at the deadline so Darko can't play them anymore.

Watched the movie Moneyball again this week. The manager kept playing Peña at first while the general manager wanted Hattenburg out there for analytic reasons. Fed up with seeing Peña in the starting lineup, the GM traded him to Detroit.

I have never watched that movie. Maybe a movie for tonight.

We just have too many limited shooters and our 2 best players aren’t able to generate enough rim pressure with the ball in their hands.

Wonder what Bobby is going to do for this deadline and off season, he’s got a lot of work to do.

Pray he does the right thing- NOTHING!

No trading IQ, Dick, and picks for a geezer.
No trading Barret. Poeltl and picks for a geezer.
No trading Scottie Barnes and picks for a geezer.
No trading picks for a geezer.
The Raptors are first-round cannon fodder, and fixing that costs us our future for no good reason.

The very least they CAN and SHOULD do is have their analytics team up and running and be extremely well prepared for the daft and- THE DRAFT STRATEGY should be :
1, PICK THE BEST AVAILABLE PLYER ALWAYS AND WITHOUT QUESTION, EVEN IF IT IS STUPID, BECAUSE DRAFTING THE BEST AVAILABLE PLAYER IS NEVER STUPID
2, if a highly rated player suddenly falls to your spot - you take him!
3. KEEP YOUR Picks - we are not good enough to part with picks!

That is to say:
1, We are first-round cannon fodder.
2, the cure, trading kids and picks for a geezer so we can win a round, maybe, is worse than the disease;
3, You see the crying after every loss on this page? We are more than a player away;.
4 Nobody wants our garbage- If anyone thinks Dick and IQ can be traded for something, I suggest they take up heavy drinking.

Wow. Not having Barrett & Walter is killing us right now.

The Quick Dick duo has been a disaster from a drafting & FA signing perspective.

I'm thinking Dick is getting pretty underrated. He's averaging more steals than turnovers by a decent margin and his True Shooting isn't terrible despite struggling from three. Career he's been a 35% three point shooter, and I'm sure teams would expect better than that going forward. Higher plus minus that Scottie Barnes which seems flukey but the team has played well with him out there, particularly early in the season, and might indicate more value than people perceive.

Also people think that three point shooting value is in the spacing, if teams are guarding Gradey like an elite shooter he is providing that value regardless if the shots go in...if the start leaving him open more, watch his volume and %s go up. Quick Dick is clever reminds one of a Seth Rogan summer comedy, take that as a compliment or perhaps not.

Gradey is improving in some areas, but he needs to hit 3's. Period.

He's kinda playing like a rookie Demar right now. Just a young athlete running in transition & playing with energy.

He is starting to make me believe that he can stick in the NBA a bit more & may even figure things out in a few years. He isn't bringing what this team needs though.

He's a tough one.. if the team was tanking, there would be zero problems with what he is doing. You just let him go out there and play. I think he needs to be on a tanking team to get the reps he needs.

He needs to go to work on his shooting this offseason though & continue to work on his body.

No, but as a short, injury-prone slashing guard who can't shoot, there's a shorter window in which he will remain any sort of useful and before he ages out of the league, most barring a major change in his skillset.

Rogers, ...

Thanks for letting me set it once to record all of the games for the season.

However, sometimes you suck at it. This game started recording for me more then half way through the third period. Just in time to see Donic try to break CMB's hand, with two refs looking right at it. No call. In fact this was followed by a **** ton of blatant no calls. I watched for about 5 minutes and gave up, KNOWING this game was going to be handed to the Lakers. Even though we were in the lead at the time.

One of these years, the victors will become much less scripted.

good thing his contracts done before hes 29 then

and if we want to renew, we got more bargaining power.

thanks for the heads up, makes the trade even more enticing

Half seasons of him inefficiently chucking don't sound super worth it to me, to be honest. The slashing is nice, but he needs to be around for it to matter.

He is good at what he does though unlike Dick and our other so called 3pt shooters. Pull the trigger on a deal already and bring in shooting.

My biggest problem with Dick is his shot selection.
Dude is wide open or very close to wide open and he decides to drive the ball.
Just take those open 3's... Anytime he's fully open, he should be launching...
