Bring Him Home.

Post#1 » by Valard » Tue Jan 20, 2026 3:57 pm

We need a shooter.

In light of last night's event, a shooter needs a home where he has a chance to win.

Bring Curry home.

IQ, Poetl, Jakobe, Dick and multiple picks for Curry and Kuminga.

Salary wise IQ + RJ work.

Steph/Shead
JKW/Ochai
Ingram/Battle
Barnes/Mamu
Poeltl/CMB

= chip?

Curry will immediately forget how to shoot when he puts on a Raptors jersey.

assuming Steph asked out, which he won't, you still can't beat the offers other teams would make. No team trading from a position of strength with their star is going to want to take on Yak or IQ's deals vs deals where they get real salary relief and meaningful assets. Also, in this fantasy scenario I think you try to acquire Steph and Draymond together so the Warriors wipe the slate clean.

The Warriors can’t aggregate salaries.

It would have to be IQ + Barrett or Pöltl & Agbaji for Curry. With picks obviously.

Curry
Barrett
Ingram
Barnes
CMB

That death lineup would be pretty interesting.

No chance Steph wants to be here, he's probably going to finish off his contract and retire a Warrior.

Seth Curry is possible. Dell Curry is possible if we are retiring his jersey. Those Curries are more of a possibility than Steph. I'm having Lamb curry for dinner tonight. Does that Curry count?

Yah I don't think Curry leaves the Bay, but if he does I think the Raps might have a sneaky good chance. Especially if we end up winning a round in the playoffs this year

This is the only trade I want. It's up to him to say he wants the Raptors for us to have a chance.

Delusional. Nobody is coming here willingly. The guy won the Championship had the the entire country at the palm of his hands and didnt resign. They have to find steals and develop them.

I'm pretty sure he's on record as saying Charlotte is the only other team he would consider playing for.
