I mean I wanna like Gradey.

He plays so bad and then suddenly he looks good for small stretches. I get why they’re continuously going back to him cause he has more talent than any SG on our roster sans maybe RJ. He just is so poor at being consistent with it.

I stand by my opinion that it's a lack of opportunity and not a matter of lack of talent or ability.

It that’s the case ochai agbaji is in th same boat. Same with Jamison battle. Same with aj Lawson. Same with pretty much any wing on this team that Isr getting consistent minutes.

Also, that implies that any player can be a star if they just play more and get more of the offense run through them. Rj needs a team of his own and he’ll be Michael Jordan.

I am not even a fan of Kuminga but Kerr just straight benching a physical player like him on this soft ass team is criminal especially when him doing so just devalues him as trade asset further.

Why does Kerr not like Kuminga?

He isn’t a quick decision maker or passer. But Kerr has shown zero ability to adapt to any player who doesn’t fit the system he likes to run. This is true on the Warriors and Team USA. He is absolutely unable and unwilling to use certain players who have proved useful on other teams so there is still some hope for him I guess

No one cares about his defence when we’re discussing his offence.

And his assists are down, turnovers up, and his “bag” is largely unchanged.

That's **** bull about his bag, the spin aeya from d into finger rolls are new, the tighter handles on his dribble drive are new, the orchestration to call specific sets to line up his shooters or exploit miss matches with purpose are new

If you don't care about defense and can't see his offense developing over the years, that says more about you than anything about Scottie

I do care about his defence, I’m very happy with his development there. But his defence isn’t relevant when we were in the middle of a discussion about his offence.

And “his bag” hasn’t led to any meaningful uptick in production. Hes averaging the exact same points, rebounds, and assists as he has for 3 years now and his efficiency is a rounding error different than he was under year 1 Darko.

He just hasn’t developed his offence much at all. He’s a valuable player regardless but the stagnation offensively is disappointing
