I keep saying, he’s a slasher in the making more than a shooter. Use him like RJ, but he needs to work on his handles. Since his rookie season he has shown he doesn’t give a **** who’s defending the rim. He always goes hard.

He needs to fall to the floor like Embiid and Shai, flail his head like LeBron and Harden. Sell it. Just shouting and throwing your arms up is low level stuff.

And also get a rapport with the refs. Scottie does **** like mock the refs when he disagrees lol

Yeah, being on a first name basis with them and being able to talk to them is really important, especially for a leader and star player.

Hope he’s a Raptor long term

Honestly, I don't think they can retain him and since we're not winning the ship we should trade him as we coule probably upgrade a 2nd to a late 1st and get under the tax.

SOS matters. I’m not taking anything Quickley or Mamu did these past 2 games seriously.

That man is gone lol. Hopefully he takes a discount and stays with us.

I'm really hopeful he'll stick around.

He’s scored 26k points.

He has been healthy/available and given the opportunity to shoot a lot, no doubt. Very limp actual impact, though. ANd horrendous on D.

It's been superb all season.

we would be talking him up as having a solid season if he was even shooting the 3 like last season

Yeah, but this board hyperfixates on his 3 point shooting. Which deserves criticism, but it ends up turning into him sucking at everything.

Mamu's posting 10.7 / 5.0 / 1.9 on 52.6 / 37.5 / 75.0 (62.8% TS, 108 TS+, +4.7% rTS) on the season. It isn't just these past two games. (in under 22 mpg)

It IS relevant. Those are over 54% of his shot attempts, and they utterly tank his efficiency. He's been BRUTAL above the break, and it's a problem. But he's doing a bunch of other stuff tonight against this wet-paper defense, so hopefully it gets him going.

You make it sound so easy tsherkin. Almost as if you could do it. Only 21 guys in the history of the NBA are ahead of him, a spreadsheet shouldn’t minimize that.
