Can't say I agree with you. He's been a mediocre scorer for a long time who has been healthy. I don't find that nearly as impressive as most of the other guys on that scoring list. Longevity matters only so much. Particularly given how ass he was in the playoffs. His style doesn't bear up well against legit defense, as we saw year after year after year.

I like Demar. He was good to the city. He worked really hard. He grew a lot over the years, always adding a little here and there every year, and he aged pretty well on O. But when you prop up 26k points as a reason teams keep going to him as a scorer, knowing that he's primarily played for bad teams in order to do so after leaving us, I'm gonna argue some. And that's on top of knowing his weaknesses pretty well from when he was with us, you know?
