Rumblings that the number 1 seed Pistons franchise player has a wrist injury so bad that he really needs to shut it down and get surgery but he’s playing through it because he would have to miss the season if he did. I’ve been watching some Pistons games lately and he’s looked horrible so that would make sense. The East is so watered down this year, we need to make a swing

Bron is 41 years old, and he's not putting us over the top. Certainly not if we trade anything of value for him. I can do without the retirement tour, and I sure as hell can do without the circus.

The only way you make that trade is if your team is having trouble filling seats.

I didnt name a single player of value. Im trying to get rid of trash. And hes better than all that tradh combined even at 41.

He can have anyone not named bam, ware, larrson, kasp.. and let me add powell.. the rest of the team, can go for him

So he's been playing through this wrist injury since 2021? That explains a lot actually

Here I was thinking he just couldn't shoot (career 33.6% 3p shooter), turns out he's just been bravely battling a severe case of "brickitis"

The media already declared him a superstar so I guess it's my bad, I'm just a hater who thinks the ball is supposed to go in the hoop

Herro is likely better if we’re being honest

Tyler Herro is a Miami Heat urban legend at this point, I heard he still provides elite spacing by sitting in the third row in street clothes though

This calf injury news for Giannis is awful. Doubt he gets traded this deadline now. Calf injuries suck and serious ones can be a prelude to Achilles. My guess is he stays with Bucks and sits out the rest of the year. Maybe a trade gets revisited in summer but most likely just signs extension with Bucks. Bucks will have a lottery pick in 2026 even with Pels owning the swap.

I’ve seen both sides, some bucks fans thinks this mean he’ll stay through the deadline some other bucks fans thinks this guarantees he’s gone. The overwhelming sentiment from outside fans is that he’s gone now, Shams said those talks between him and the Bucks have ramped up, we’ll see what happens. He was out 24 days last time

All this talk was prior to the calf injury. The injury changes things drastically. Bucks will take this into the offseason

Just picture the Bucks getting a top pick now and if the Hawks get a top pick, trading Giannis for that pick would make a great rebuilding foundation better than anything we can offer unfortunately.

That's a big risk for giannis. He wouldn't be able to move until the 2027-2028 season, when he's like 34/35. Hed be stuck with no way out and no avenue to improve the squad. Bucks won't get anywhere near the value they could get now.

Maybe the price drops. With your proposed package for giannis, the heat would have the depth for him to sit until healthy.

If giannis is off the table, they need to sell wiggins and rozier before the deadline. Probably powell too.

Bucks will offer the extension to Giannis so regardless he will get paid. Bucks can just sit him out now and work on getting a top pick next year. The Pels own the swap but they stink too so it’s going to be a race to the bottom. Bucks have zero incentive to improve now or forcing something they still have time to leverage. Giannis lost leverage himself in the event he tries to force a trade while injured.

Not buying it, it’s a calf strain it’s not like he tore his ACL and will be out for a year or something. He’ll be back in a month or so

Giannis is going to get paid regardless, just less if he traded in the off season. But money, be damn, I'm not sure he wants to deal with this for 2 more seasons.

4-6 weeks for a calf strain seems like a bloated timeline to me.. i dont think giannis is rushing back for milwaukee.. but if he gets traded, youre gonna see some magic quick healing like when Harden got traded from brooklyn to philly..

Personally I’d be overly cautious with this. Just need a good stretch of games leading into the playoffs and go into the playoffs healthy. Anything can happen from there, time is not on our side unfortunately but we’ll work out the kinks in the offseason

He wants to win, he’s not going to extend with Milwaukee and waste yet another season of his prime there next year.
