He's going to need back surgery. They've gone through so many options already. I just had a feeling this wasn't going to be resolved anytime soon.

God I hope not. He'll be rehabbing most of next year if that happens, and maybe never regains his form. Amazing how this went from nothing structural and it's just a persistent muscle issue to wherever we're at now. Horrible luck, especially given how ridiculous that extension was in real time.

Edit: and if it is structural with no obvious injury point, the wolves will justifiably be out for Bobby. Raps had this guy for multiple years and apparently didn't even know their own player...again, assuming it's structural.

He either did PRP at dr. gallea. But that shyt doesnt work all that well in the back.

Or he did cortozone which should help but will take a bit

I've seen cases where they do surgery and it doesn't improved. At this point its a ruptured disk or spinal stenosis. Who knows.

I wonder if this media release about Yak is to line up a hardship exemption to get an extra roster spot for a trade.

Right now with Poeltl, CMB, Walter, and Hepburn out, the Raptors have the requisite four players out who have been out for at least three games straight. The players also have to be expected out for at least two more weeks for the hardship exemption to come into play.

Lewenberg says CMB practised and they will see tomorrow how he feels. Still listed as questionable. Poeltl did some non-contact work

Pretty crazy how unlucky we've been at the C spot recently. 2 blood clots and a bad back.

Poeltl is going to probably be fine. It seems like he just needs rest and it's being blown out of proportion. He makes this team into a legitimate contender if he returns to form.

Doubt it.. Those are visible usually on MRI, no? So they would know by now. You think he didn't get an MRI ? Or they keep it secret?
