Assume its kat for giannis.

Brunson, bridges, og, giannis and Mitchell Robinson would be easy favorites.

Ehh idk about that. Seems like a recipe for Giannis to become almost full-time center. Mitchell Robinson is more of a player in theory than in reality and has shot zero 3PA in his career (along with 51% FT shooting). As I mentioned, Brunson and Giannis are not really complementary imo and will actually marginalize each other--like the Giannis-Dame dynamic but worse.

Davion, powell, pelle, and bam

Steph, melton, moody, and dray.

Yeah, i think the Knicks clear in talent.

If you were giannis, which of those 3 would be the most appealing? Whi gives you the best chance at a ring? He'dprobably extend with all 3.

I think there’s an argument to be made that maybe Giannis really wants to play with Brunson for some reason, players have random preferences sometimes, but they aren’t known for being great teambuilders, and objectively I actually think Bam fits extremely well next to Giannis. You could make the case he’s a near perfect fit, because Giannis lessens Bam’s offensive responsibility, but Bam also lets Giannis float between center or power forward depending on matchup.

Also the Heat are the only team of the 3 built to slot Giannis in as a clear ball dominant player, the role he’s had the most success in his career.

lol no they are not. Even when we should tank, we because of ego are incapable of it, now factor in another team keeping the pick we wont tank. Our picks will be in the late 20s if we are being honest here and thats not motivating anyone

Let the record show that Flash4thewin has expectation for a Miami Heat team potentially featuring a 33 year old Bam and 37 year old Giannis to be top 5 in the NBA. I love the optimism!

Come on you know flash, he’s the eternal pessimist. If he’s saying that it’s literally only to argue for some negative outcome lol

Here goes what would could be the basis of a deal with picks included.

Can we please for the love of God find a trade where we're not taking back Thanasis? I dont want that clown cheerleader sitting on our bench. And if that's a deal breaker for Giannis, he can go kick rocks

We're under the luxury tax with it nowhere in sight for the foreseeable future? When Giannis goes, probably ever.

You’re passing on Giannis if we have to bring in his brother? I’ll take the whole family lol

The bigger issue for me is giving up Wiggins. I get the argument another pick may be required but you’re giving up a guy who is a perfect fit for a Giannis squad and just assuming you can easily fix that problem later. The Bucks are trading Giannis for a similar reason, later has arrived and they couldn’t fix the problem.

I’m not a Wiggins fan specifically, but I fully respect and appreciate what he brings to a team. On an average squad without an elite ball dominant alpha his value is probably a 5 or 6 (out of 10), because of the weaknesses in his game. But on that proper squad, his value shoots up to an 8 or arguably even 9, because he gives you elite top 5 wing defense, defensive versatility, elite spot-up shooting, and even star level tough shot making ability for those possessions where the other team locks in and somebody just has to make a play.

There’s a reason the Lakers are dying to pair him with Luka.

Read that the bucks are looking to offload kuzma in a giannis deal. No team wants him without a pick attached.

I don't think gsw nor Knicks can absorb kuzma, but the heat can. That would be a big advantage.

Herro, rozier, ware, jjj, 2 picks and 4 swaps is a near exact match. Taking on kuzma is like giving a pick.

I know people like to give Riley all the credit. But the past year this has been Adam Simon building up his resume. Especially with Andy health collapsed. Lets see if Adam can make a legendary trade happen.

I'm lukewarm on it but not opposed. I think people are setting themselves up to hate Spo though, because if/when it doesn't work out to the extent people have in their heads, they're going to blame him. But I don't think this team is really that great, and I also have huge question marks about Giannis moving forward.

My prediction if the trade goes through, by the middle of next season there's going to be an intense fire Spo campaign on this board.

There’s a reason Giannis sat out our first matchup for rest. Not only is he scared of the Bam matchup but he also didn’t want to potentially harm the team he’ll be on later in the season.

Yes. When you tear a team apart for a 31 year old with injuries, youve got to get lucky with team building.

As it stands, our FO loves the big name and will wallow for years to find the next trade target. Might as well get Giannis and force a draft rebuild in 3 years.

Spo should be criticized for some of the decisions he makes as a game manager. I wish we could find a diff guy to man the bench and move Spo to a diff position. If he continues with his revolutionary trend following, hes going to be a target.

I'm going to stand on my 3 team offer w/ Golden State. Wiggs goes back to the Bay, Rozier's expiring, Hield, 3 picks, and kids (Kuminga, Ware, Jovic) to the Bucks for Giannis and psycho Portis.
