Are we expecting these Giannis injuries to magically disappear when he leaves Milwaukee?

I’d still make the trade because this current Heat team is going nowhere and very few, if any, of these young players look like they will amount to much.

I just can’t help but think any grand plans we have to contend for titles with Giannis will be derailed by his injuries much like the Bucks these past few years.

Ya but lakers got some studs in that deal, nobody were offering is on the level of odom or Caron, they made out super well on that deal.

I do think they're overrating the warriors package a bit. 1. Are we sure the Bucks want to deal with Jimmy? Especially an old post ACL tear Jimmy? And hes not even expiring. 2. They don't own any recent picks, so what will they be doing in the years leading up to the Warriors picks? Being bad with no relief in sight? Atleast with Miami, the picks are now when they are rebuilding.

Jimmy won't even report to the Bucks if that trade happens lol. Bucks are gonna be paying him to rehab and never play for them.

I mean, Tyler Herro has more All-Stars than Lamar Odom and one less than Caron Butler (both got 1 by age 26). Jaime is effectively tracking with the same statistical output through 3 seasons as Caron--actually a little better (and this is while controlling for pace). Kel'el Ware has more talent and upside than the lot.

You’re right I’m going by what they turned out to be not what they were when they were traded

How are we looking financially if we get Giannis. Will we have the $ to fill out the roster in the coming years or will he and bam have to take a pay cut.

MLE and vet min ring chasers this offseason

Should be able to get a quality starter with the MLE.

Not worried about filling the roster out at all tbh.

That following summer, Donovan at the 1 with Bam and Giannis as his bigs?!?! :o

I really don't see how the Warriors draft package is a better deal than our prospects and picks.

You telling me some future 2030 pick is worth more than Ware or Jaquez?

A smart contender wouldn't think twice. OKC should be interested, with their plethora of picks. He'd be a big pickup for them.

Salary is a direct match with Isaiah Hartenstein, who has a $28m team option this offseason.

I'm not getting too emotional about any trades, every year we're always in discussions just for us to fall short and say we like our team lol. I wouldn't be surprised at all if a random team comes in at the 11th hour and steals, if he even gets traded.

This will be different just because even if we fail to get him it won't be because we refused to trade certain guys. I think we're all OK if we miss out on Giannis because someone outbid us because we'll have offered all we can.

Feels like the perfect storm to me. Giannis is just in the right age bracket for us to move all in, whereas KD was around 5-6 years older.

We have a real chance here to land a generational talent. Need to find a way to close it.

Sadly it isn't all up to us.
