Good. We need as many good players coming into the NBA as possible. I want everyone to play well.

Maybe 6'4 barefoot. I doubt he's taller than that.

Maybe 6'4.5 max barefoot. He's not 6'5 barefoot.

Some notes;

1/ This dude is old. He is a sophomore aged freshman.
2/ This dude is not really productive. He has probably the worst set of counting stats/advanced stats in the lottery this year when drafted.
3/ There isn't enough evidence to say that he is an elite shooter. He puts up 1/13, 1/7, 2/10, 2/8, 4/15 type of his games at a regular rate. His 10/16 from 3pt is an extreme hot game.

It's really going to be a long shot hoping that an efficient small guard is going to develop in outsized ways in the NBA. Unless this dude shoots like Curry (or Kon) in his draft workouts, I don't want to see him anywhere in the top 10.

Top 5, sure. Top 10 though? Who would you take over him.

Dybantsa
Wilson
Boozer
Peterson
Ament
Flemings
Acuff
Wagler
Steinbach
Philon
Mullings
Lendeborg
Burries
Yessoufou

I'd probably take all of those guys over Brown. I'm not really a fan. Jamal Murray is his best case scenario, and I doubt that happens. Just not really a fan of combo guards who aren't amazing shooters or legitimate point guards.

Have any of the top guys had wilder swings than Mikel? Haven't watched it yet but it looks like he was the player of the day.

He looked so bad at Duke but he's been a beast the past two games. Hopefully he can finish the season strong.

He's pretty normal for low floor high ceiling elite traits guys. LeMelo and Ant in their class was similar

Finally, two productive games in a row.
Can he be consistent and have another productive game against SMU on February 17th.......

He is interesting because he is a bit of chucker but he is at least taking the high value shots in FT and 3s.

I think he is a bit smaller than listed and his defense is going to be a problem, but if you are taking him back half of the top 10 its fine.

Top 6 player for me. Flawed but the ceiling is so enticing. 3PR, playmaking, gets downhill with real first step, draws FTs, love it.

I think Brown has been playing hurt, and it is really limiting him. He isn't a perfect prospect, but in this draft it is hard to see him falling out of the lottery.

He's not going to go from being a 37% shooter from the field, 27% from three, and magically become a good shooter at the NBA level. He doesn't have it in him. He's going to be a mistake for any team that drafts him.

That's a bit harsh. He's only played 12 games. He shot it well in HS and over the summer for the u19 team (47% from 3).

Having said that last night was hard to watch. I can't unsee that. Given what we've seen from the other freshman i have to kick him to the curb. As a wizards fan with a top 8 pick i have to kick him out of my top 8 pending a major turnaround.

How is it harsh?
It's his shooting percentages.
Shooting doesn't come naturally for him. Can the guy try to average one steal per game? No effort with this kid at all.

This is why sample size matters. 6 games later he is now shooting 34.6% on 3s, 52.6% on 2s and actually does average 1.2 steals per game.

"shooting doesn't come naturally to him" because he struggles early in his freshman season? SMH

I had a vald reason to say it.
It just so happens that he's played well in a few games straight. So, that can always change, and it took him until now to prove he had it in him.

I do like him when he's not making mistakes constantly.

More mistakes that will be ignored by some fans. 13 turnovers in two games.
