This is a last chance for a lot of people, as they have been around and just ineffective too long... Linden, Conrad, Putnam, Jeremy Brown...

The names to watch are Cunningham, Simmons, Wing, Leon, and Gio...

I've never heard of that Garcia guy before but he is built like a friggin tank... I'd love to see him make the team or at least stay w/the organization.

I'm a big fan of Cliff Pennington, and also think Andrew Carignan, should be added to your names to watch list.I think both will come up big in the minors this season.

Simmons got his first start for Midland this year on the 7th. 3IP, 0ER, 3 hits, 3K's. I hope he gets to the Rivercats this year so I can watch him up in Sac (my hometown). I kinda wish he had stayed for his senior year at UCR cuz we are struggling this year, but if he had stayed the A's might not have gotten to pick him so it worked out for the best.

Saw Stockton tonight. Cahill was pretty dominant, big fastball and pretty good command with all pitches. Chris Carter looks like a potential stud.

I'm a Giants fan and went to see their top pitching prospect in San Jose. I came away underwhelmed by him, but those two guys for Stockton really jumped out.

Carignan is the closer, right? That guy was throwing gas up to 96mph and pretty much blew away the heart of the order in the 9th.

Horton must have been using a skillet for a glove. He botched some pretty routine plays, one of which was incorrectly ruled a hit. I recall hearing Doolittle's name (DH?), but can't remember the first thing about him.
