Still whatever it is... i personally wait for draft combine measurements after getting burned by that " Cade is a 6'8 PG.. maybe even 6'9 " campaign train. Lol

2.08m is 6'10

Just did a quick google 2.08m to feet. It says 6.82147 feet???

6.82147 is sth different than 6‘8“ though.
6.83333 is 6‘10“

This .82147 is measured in a scale of 10. Feet are measured on a scale of 12.

Right, but weird you were ready to die on the hill of the Wisconsin #32 height, but then want to poke holes in it for Steinbach.

The only hill im dying on is that college measurements are a joke. I kinda somewhat believe in Euro National team measurements though.

Not really about the interpretation, it’s about the math. 2.08m is 6.824147 feet. There are 12 inches in a foot, and 0.824147 x 12 =9.89, so 2.08m is 6 feet, 9.89 inches. That’s 6’11” in shoes. But as others have said, we have no idea how accurate the measurement is, nor do we know his wingspan or standing reach.

The Washington Huskies declined an invitation to the Crown tournament, likely ending Hannes' collegiate career.

https://uwhuskieswire.usatoday.com/story/sports/college/huskies/mens-basketball/2026/03/17/uw-basketball-danny-sprinkle-college-basketball-crown-desmond-claude-wesley-yates/89188798007/

Hannes averaged 18.5 points and 11.8 rebounds in 34.6 minutes a game in his freshman season. He did that in the 30 games he played for the Washington Huskies this season (he missed 3).

The first first-round pick to see their season end, for sure (since his season ended a week ago).

We sure he will declare for the draft? He could do what his fellow countrymen in MICH did like Framz and Moe and stayed for 2-3years despite being 1st round talent.

Why wouldn't he? Pretty much every big man after Boozer and Wilson is mediocre. Hannes will be a lottery pick. Lottery picks don't stay in school.

Some do.

But yeah.. Franz could have gone after his rookie year but he stayed another. Wondering if others would do the same.

I think players like David Mirkovic, who had a up and down season, are the type to come back. Not guys who statistically dominate and get drafted in the lottery.

No. They 99% don't. Freshmen who are considered lottery picks leave. It's the fringe first round guys who stick around (Labaron Philon). Sophomores aren't drafted first overall. The risk of staying another year is not worth the potential of maybe moving into the top 5 instead of being drafted at 10. No point.

Steinbach`s mobility and footwork is elite, strong body and hands, great finisher. High floor prospect. Top-10 pick.

As I’ve watched KAT in the finals and thought about Vecenie’s comment that he really likes HS as a 5 due to his 3 ball, strength and mobility.

I’ve only liked HS as a giant bully ball 4 owning the glass. But SV got me thinking… so I looked up their combine measurements and they are nearly identical in everything. It’s crazy.

What do you think of HS next to Caleb Wilson at the 4 for my Bulls?

Anyone else see a poor man’s KAT?

would be crazy to come out of the draft with wilson (as a jazz fan, if i were in charge, i'd take wilson at 2) and steinbach. though i'd have a hard time passing on carr at 15 if both he and hannes are available.

I dont see KAT. Towns is a insane shooter with one of the softest touches ever for a big man.

Hannes is more mobile and will do some work in the open floor. I think he builds out a 3 but wont be near the volume of KAT.

I actually see more Hartenstein in him than anyone albeit that still isnt a perfect comparison. Think iHart w/ a coin flip chance of developing a 3 ball - which is a Top-10 guy to me. About 75% of the block rate as iHart though. Think Hannes does have the feel to become a similar level passer FWIW.

At 15 my board is

Morez (Caruso if was a 4/5)
HS (KATesque but a better rebounder)
Philon (Poor man SGA)
Carr (Off ball Lavine that plays D)
