GT: Dodgers vs. Brewers (Opening Day 2007)

Post#1 » by WEFFPIM » Mon Apr 2, 2007 2:17 am

Let's get this season started, shall we? The Dodgers (NL Wild Card Winner last season) face off against your Milwaukee Brewers (4th in NL Central last season) at Miller Park tomorrow afternoon at 1:05. FSN North and 620 WTMJ with the coverage.

I'll be at the game. Have a good time for those in the first ever Milwaukee Brewers Game Thread tomorrow (this will more than likely be locked however because MD is drunk with power).

Great thread. I'm not going to start a game thread here as I do on the Bucks board. Whoever wants to get one going each game go ahead and I'll sticky it. Hopefully most of the Brewer talk will switch over from the Bucks board but that will take time.

This transition might take awhile for me to get used to, but now RealGM has become my favorite site on the web.

Oh, and Go Crew

Are we gonna be doing seperate game threads?
Wouldnt it be better just having series threads?

JUst my opinion 8)

I'll leave it up to you guys. Initially maybe series threads are best. Once we start getting busy in here maybe game threads. Whatever you guys want to do is fine.

Series threads are fine for the Bucks board, but this is a Brewers board son, each game deserves its own thread.

You can even finish off this one by adding Lineups when they're announced. By that time I'll be sitting in the Miller Park parking lot enjoying a brat.

My guess is similar to yours:

1. Weeks
2. Hardy
3. Fielder
4. Hall
5. Jenkins
6. Estrada
7. Hart
8. Counsell (RHP for the Dodgers)
9. Sheets

This is so cool, i never thought real gm would do this. But i think the brewers win this one 6-2 with sheets striking out 7 in 8 innings. Fielder hits a homer and weeks has a great game. Go brewers!

Not really a guess when that is the lineup posted on Brewers.com for opening day. I figured Jenkins would hit 5th with Corey 6th and Estrada 7th but I was wrong.
