I'm always amazed at how quickly fans will build up a guy with ridiculous expectations and then tear him down if he doesn't immediately live up to those expectations.

There ALWAYS has to be scape goat. Par the course.

I will only say: I want him to stop deferring and be more assertive, aggressive, physical and focused...and yeah play some DEFENSE (he's got stiff hips, and his anticipation is always a second late). 

Do the things like boxing out, diving for a lose ball, paying attention, communicate, rebound more aggressively, the little things - that goes along way despite any offensive struggles.

After experiencing how physical the game is during the postseason I think Jalen will have a different approach next season.

We can expand his role next season and increase his shot attempts.

A reminder that the past 2 offseasons, JJ has had to rehab after a season ending injury. Thankfully not this offseason, so he should have all of season to focus on his game, mind and strength.

That's a very good point.

I like the leap he made this season. What a great season for him and to cap it off an All NBA Team would be ideal. The future is bright.
