Unbelievable. Just unbelievable with AG. Denver’s title hopes are over. I’m so done with this

Nuggets should just rest for the 2027 playoffs at this rate

He sits so much out of the season. How is his hamstring still an issue?

Sigh. Denver isn't winning jack without Gordon. This season started out so promising, too.

Denver won game 1 with AG being in foul trouble. They are very capable of winning this series without him but their title chances take a big hit if he's still hampered after this round.

OKC is without JDub. Etc. So the injury excuse won’t work

Cool story bro. This is the Nuggets vs. Timberwolves thread. Gordon is vital to Denver's success. This is a huge loss.

Yeah because OKC and Denver’s team are built the same?

The only thing shocking about this is how shocked my fellow nuggets fans are. I’ve been saying for months now: why would a guy who has been dealing with the same nagging injuries since November 2024 somehow, miraculously, be fully healthy for a two month grind of a playoff run? It’s literally not possible. His body can’t do it.

I think the problem with these two teams is that they don't respect each other. Minny thinks Denver is soft and to Minny the worst thing you can be is soft; meanwhile the Nuggets think the Wolves are dumb and to the Nuggets the worst thing you can be is dumb. They're both kind of right.

It was obvious by how he played last game that something was not right with AG. Not only was his offense bad but his defense was unusually terrible.

I don't think anybody is shocked, and I expected him to miss games. It's still disappointing, though. Denver has needed him all year. There wasn't a trade to be made that could have made up for his loss. I was keeping my fingers crossed, but it's clear to see even during the first two games of this series the he was just playing on borrowed time. His body is betraying him.
