I think this series is 50/50, which puts Denver at 75-80% for each of the next 3 games.

Vegas agrees as well.

I think Minny has to close it out tonight or they lose the series. They have to strike now. The lack of DD and Ant can only be covered for so long.

Tautological, being down 3-1.

Despite the injuries, Minny is still -140 to win the series as of now.

If you're keen on Denver winning 3 straight, jump on the +120 price now. Once (if) they win tonight, the odds will become much different.

Nuggets from top to bottom have been a embarassment.

Jokic and Murray playing way below par. Coaching is a joke. Aaron Gordon and Cam Johnson mia. So much blame to go around when it comes to the Nuggets. From stars, coaching and role players.

The putz who scored 40 something isn’t going to even get 20 again. Fluke. Denver wins the next three games with ease.

I agree I think Denver wins tonight but 11.5 is too high for this matchup.

The Nuggets have been favored in every game this series.

MIN is weird though. They do better when they are told they’re the underdogs, than when they are the favorites.

For comparison, OKC over Phoenix is -10.5. Like what?

Again, I have to tip my hat to Gobert this series. He has cratered Jokic's offensive output and efficiency

Regular season Joker: 27.7ppg on 67.0% TS, 10.7 assists / 3.7 turnovers per game.

1st round Joker: 25.0ppg on 50.6%TS, 7.8 assists / 4.0 turnovers per game.

So Jokic must be doing great against Naz when he tries to guard him, to even reach these averages.

I don't think so. Denver plays at home, Denver is the desperate team, Denver still has the best player in the series and Minnesota is without their starting backcourt. Nobody should be surprised if this becomes a blowout victory for Denver to be honest.

I think the main issue for Denver is how Gobert is keeping Jokic in check, while McDaniels has Murray in a straightjacket.

If both Denver teammates can get going, especially without Edwards to take the bulk of the scoring, Denver's back in the series.

Damnit if the Nuggets lose I need to write their post mortem and I haven't even started on it... still at work.

Obviously without Ant and DVV the Nuggets have a chance - and they did enter this as favourites.

But I dont trust Denver right now.

Jokic has been shooting poorly from outside since January.

Be it weight (lack of it for this matchup), shooting or just Gobert stepping up to guard Jokic 1:1 and Minny having athletic defenders that are playing hungry Jokic playmaking is not as good as expected, no one is getting open and offense seems too stale (which is also on coaching).

Without Gordon (and even Payton Watson a bit) this Nuggets team is defending the rim terribly, so they are not going to win without scoring 110+ points per game.

Then again - hey how the things started I would not be surprised if Jokic or Gobert get injured too and that is what ends the series in either direction.

I am rooting for the Nuggets, but as it stands right now Minnesota deserves this more.
