And other teams have basically stopped guarding him on the perimeter because theyd love nothing more than for him to shoot 3s all night. We definitely need to try to move on from him this off-season.

He was playing better before the Coby White addition, think he is adjusting to getting even less usage.
He is still really important if we want to do anything in the playoffs, just have to ride out this bad stretch.

Re: Miles High: The Miles Bridges Thread
I go offline for 5 hours and nobody jumps in to comment on Miles bridge filing a restraining order On his ex. Many of us have been pointing out for the past two years that it was only a matter of time before something bad happened in that volatile relationship. Those two need to be as far away from each other as possible. Hopefully a restraining order helps keep this from ending up in a much worse situation.

Re: Miles High: The Miles Bridges Thread
Personal issues aside, which are annoying.....I think Miles is who he is at this point. He never reached that other level like Randle did. I think he's a fine 5th starter if he played defense, but he doesn't, so its not really prudent to keep him with LaMelo on the floor who also doesn't play defense well, or with Diabate which makes an undersized frontcourt. I'd look to upgrade him this offseason if the team just wants to keep the core and run it back. Naz Reid is the obvious target in his spot

Re: Miles High: The Miles Bridges Thread
He is not only not improving, he's been steadily regressing. He can barely even drive to the rim anymore and he's become trash at layups too. We aren't getting 2022 Bridges back.
I'd take basically anybody with size and a hint of defense in his place

investigate Adam Silver

Re: Miles High: The Miles Bridges Thread
There has been too much talk of potentially trading Brandon Miller when Miles is still on the roster. I get that Brandon has more trade value, but they have a million extra picks they could package that could fetch a good player without dipping into their core.
Jaren Jackson was traded for a package that could have been beaten with just Miles + picks. They should explore those options before considering trading someone like Miller. If they wanted to get someone like Bam they would probably have to trade Miller, but I don't think they necessarily need someone quite on Bams level and I think getting a front court player in the next tier down (where I view JJJ) would get the job done.

I’m ready for his time to be over and I think it happens in a mid year trade if not at the draft.

Well…maybe. I’d prefer keeping the 14th pick, sending out #18 and a future first, and some seconds if necessary. Depends on the player. But getting a quality starting level PF who is bigger, a better defender & rebounder, and can score while shooting decently, is needed badly.
Miles did some good work this past season, and won a number of games with his contributions. But as others said, he’s not good enough.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

The same reasons we want to dump him is the same reason he is hard to trade. They have reportedly shopped him before. The pfs I’d trade 2 firsts for are likely unavailable.
I’m not spending 2 firsts on a kuzma or a Vanderbilt

Re: Miles High: The Miles Bridges Thread
With the lottery changes I don't see teams trading away talent to tank, what's the point? You can tank and get the 15th pick. The time to act was last offseason. You might have teams trading talent to avoid the apron like Minnesota/Reid, but that's it.
If AD truly doesn't want to play for Washington, he might be our only hope.

If the Lakers REALLY strike out in Free Agency and lose Rui I could see them taking Miles for cap space if the Hornets wanted to generate a 22M TPE

Not sure why we'd just give him away as he's already expiring.

TPE could be more valuable in a trade
