Deni Avdija, Rui Hachimura, Kelly Oubre, Cory Kispert
Centers
Kristaps Porzingis, Jay Huff

Is this accurate. Who am I forgetting?

Jordan Clarkson (was traded for cash considerations on draft night)
Ryan Rollins
Jordan Goodwin

Mo Wagner
Marvin Bagley
Tyus Jones (had decent minutes in the playoffs against the Wolves in 1 game)

He is right and there's nothing wrong with saying it.

He hurt himself by trying to do too much earlier in his career and he ended up doing so at sub-optimal efficiency. Now that he has made an effort to be more judicious with his usage and focus on a smaller, more well-defined role, he has become a quality role player worth more than his current contract. He made $8.3M this year. I'd say his production is worth at least the full MLE.

The majority of the comment is fine, and accurate, it’s the first part that is problematic, but he was also being refreshingly honest.

I always liked Oubre. He’s a bit of an oddball and seemed a little slow on the uptake from a basketball standpoint but like Rui he is frankly too talented not to succeed. If it took him a while to learn his role in the league, well hey, eventually he learned. Ditto for Rui. Compare and contrast with other talented players the Wiz have drafted who never quite grew into their talent. Happy Oubre has figured it out.

Never seen this before! I saw Phil a few months ago, he looked good but definitely slowing down at 75 years old. He was using a cane which I wasn't used to seeing him use.

CJ Miles is a photographer? Didn’t know. Adam Silver took a photo of him

Mentioned this in another thread -- ex-Wiz Landry Shamet is getting a lot of minutes in the Knicks/Cavs series & balling out!
He's 7-10 in the series -- all 3-pointers! :)

He played exactly 0 playoff minutes in the entire Title run with Denver in 2023.

He played a total of 18 playoff minutes with Miami in their first round exit in 2024: one 6-minute garbage time stretch in a 20-point loss, and one 12 minute garbage-time stretch in a 34 point loss.

He played a total of 167 out of 1114 playoff minutes in his Finals run with Indy in 2025. His on/off differential was -9.4 and the team got outscored by -6.7 per 100 possessions when he was on the floor, so he wasn't exactly a big help. But yeah, he was an actual participant in that run so that's something.

He played a total of 33 out of 831 playoff minutes with Cleveland, mostly in garbage time. He has made 2 out of 14 shots.

Bryant is not a rotation-caliber NBA player.

I always liked Shamet. I thought he was good when he was here.

I liked him too & still do. Nothing "special" to be sure -- but solid.
