Yeah if bucks fans don't even like trade packages from OKC. I don't even know what their expecting in the market. Trading for picks now seems to risky with all these anti tanking changes. Better to go after young Allstars you can build around in the east to at least stay competitive.

After the upcoming draft OKC owns all their own picks plus a 2027 Denver pick (protected 1-5), a 2027 San Antonio pick (it has protections on it...might turn into 2nds...most likely it's a late first), a 2027 swap with the Clippers, a 2028 swap with Dallas, a 2029 pick from Denver (protected 1-5) and 2nds from various teams.

The swaps are good, but all those picks look like they'll end up being late firsts (which are always good to have, but not that exciting for a team trading with them).

folks are gonna over analyze everything but okc losing to the spurs boils down to one thing - jdub was not healthy. margins are razor thin with teams this good, spurs were healthy and okc was not. that's attributed to luck/karma. they didn't lose with a full healthy squad. they were missing their 2nd best player.

OKC owns 7 future FRP/swaps from other teams along with all of their own future FPRs except this 2026 draft's. If the Bucks don't want Chet or JDub, OKC can send Hartenstein and Dort as expirings after activating their 2027 team options.

I doubt they will but OKC definitely can make a winning offer if they want to smash open the war chest.
