Look, you should probably settle down a bit. I love Giannis, but "best all around player" is subjective. Is he the best shooter, passer, rebounder, shot blocker, etc... No, but he is a dominant force on both ends of the floor. We all know he's great.

Unfortunately, a large chunk of his greatness stems from his athleticism. It usually doesn't go well when a non-shooter's athleticism wanes. As great as he can be, the back half of his next contract might be rough!

You're right regarding what you said above.

Are you willing to say the back half of next contract WILL BE rough/bad? It's easy to criticize to someone's decision who is saying, I'm going for it (with Giannis) if you're only sitting on the fence saying, "maybe" about him.

My comment was solely based on not agreeing that Giannis was the best player in the NBA. He's in the conversation, but every answer will be subjective.

I am not willing to say that anything will ever be 100% anything. But if Giannis is getting $75m+ at age 36... it will probably be bad.

I'm not saying teams shouldn't go for it; a Chet for Giannis trade puts OKC in at least the WCF every year they are healthy. But he's not a magic bullet. If POR goes all in on Giannis (or Brown) it will probably end in heartache, even if he finishes his career there. Situation matters and the situation in MIA isn't great, particularly if they give up everything to get him.
