JMAC3's guy. Could be big for us if we put the right guys around him.

Seems like a player I'll like, figured he wouldn't last. Not so concerned with what I'm reading as far as weaknesses go. Excited to watch some highlights.

Just got a good feeling about this kid.

Its awesome that his main skill in rebounding is the most transitional skill to the big leagues. Feels like he could break into the rotation pretty quick.

Sky's the limit of he gets the 3 shot going.

WUNDERBAR! Wilkommen Hannes to the Hornets! Thrilled we got one of the big 3 of Morez, Yaxel and Hannes. This guy can develop and become even more than he showed. Let’s hope he surprises and becomes an amazing pick.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

I honestly think he will end up being better than Sengun.

Happy with this. He has defensive and positional questions (seriously, is he a 4 or a 5?) but the rebounding and hands are crazy and he’s not immobile. He will always be limited on that end but I believe in him.

And most importantly, we are finally giving Melo a roll partner who can do something with the ball in the PnR. He has touch and a developing shot. I am a fan of this pick.

I am super excited that he made it to us. He can run the floor and dribble at a a high level for his size. Rebounds obviously. Good touch and really knows how to play basketball. The dad instilled the fundamentals you can tell. Nice pick.

Wouldn't shock me if he ends up as not a true big but a massive wing kinda like Lauri Markkanen

He may become Miles replacement at PF in a year in that case.
If he can play with Diabate taking the fastest big and him the stockier one we could have a good thing down low.
That could be elite level rebounding.
With our shooters firing away from outside they could clean up on the boards.

Hopefully Hornets can make a trade for a really big quality starting 5 rim protector who can allow Hannes to eventually play the 4 beside him. Dirk der Zweite!
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.
