Clement doesn’t throw to 2B for an easy out now to cost the team a run

Did he forget who was running?

Urias was playing way away from the bag given Alvarez’s propensity for pulling the ball, had no chance at it

Not clear why Clement didn’t turn and throw to 2nd on the following play though, it’s like he had no awareness whatsoever

Man i cant wait for this Guerrero at bat! Will it be a groundout to SS, 3B or popout? Or his specialty, a squibbler back to the pitcher?

It was, you can’t pitch him literally every day without there being consequences to their top pitching asset

Team full of Mental Midgets, with a 300 million payroll. Clement should have gone to Second. No situational awareness on the basepaths, defensively, or at the plate. Just be Sellers at the deadline instead of coasting and being mediocre and garbage like they have all year.

It would have done so long ago already if not for that insanely hot April he had where he was mashing singles left and right batting .350 with a .450 OBP. That one month skewed his numbers big time. He's been a .600 OPS hitter since May 1st.

I want someone fired if Vlad is batting in the top two thirds of the order tomorrow

If he goes to the All-star game and has a good showing there, maybe his contract will be easier to offload. I would phone up the Dodgers, and tell them just take Vlad off our hands with very minimal return. The Dodgers did a similar thing years ago when they took David Price and Mookie Betts off the hands of Boston.

There’s a guy in AAA who has 20 HR in 65 games who would clearly be an upgrade to Vlad right now

How long is this gonna go on, are they just gonna pretend like this is a normal slump all season

Ranger One was correct before the Series, when I was being the hopeful one and said this team should have a good home stand and be above .500 facing struggling teams (lol). This team is the definition of Mental Midgets. They are what they are. Mediocre to Garbage most nights. Really cannot stomach this team the way it is. Looking like fools on the base paths all year, choking like dogs with Men on Base, and critical errors all year to give up leads.

Need to be Sellers at the deadline. Guys like Springer, Varsho, Gausman, Rogers, Hoffman and Bieber (if he looks decent in his next couple of outings) should be trade bait. I would look to move Vlad and his contract also, but this organization does not have the balls to do that. However, Vlad should be trade bait also.

This organization has already proven they care more about bad optics and saving face by making Guerrero untouchable in the top of the order over winning ballgames. Schneider already came on Blair and Barker last week and said they have ZERO intention of ever moving Guerrero down because "hes gonna be pitched the same whether hes batting 1st or 9th".
