John is going to be around a bunch given he’s an employee of Monumental and his new gig at Howard.

Super excited we know who our guy is now and we can cheer for him. Dybansta is easy to cheer for. The skill that convinced me about him was breaking down double teams--he showed patience and ability to make slight adjustments until he found an advantage, then exploit it. If he can bring the three point percentage up, it's over for defenders.

That dude ain't going be top 3 in this draft in hindsight, but hey his analytics were impressive......

He's talented for sure but for some reason this kid rubs me the wrong way, he carries the ball like a NFL running back and somehow this is the best the league has to offer in terms of basketball talent? Come on. Play ball not NFL.

Nice opening presser just now for AJ. Kid is ready. Let’s go!

Says he wants his first hoop to be a lob or a dunk off a back door cut. Admitted he was a little “lazy” at times on D at BYU.

I already reserved a jersey lol, and I don't buy them. I'll do one in the red and a cherry blossom one.

I LOVE this kid! "Spiderman is the reason I loved basketball." LOL!!!

He's smart, verbal, thoughtful, funny, conscious of the world. Wow... He absolutely blows me away.

AJ's Dad is a former Brockton, MA cop. That man has seen some sh*t. AJ's family is very strong. Good basis to lean on. I'm really excited about what he can become.

WE FINALLY GOT ONE!!!!!

Like a guy who can be the face of the league, not just of our franchise.....
DC going be rocking exclusive AJ Nike's, and kids going to be inspired to play ball even more and the change around the city is so amazing.....

This is different from when we even had Jordan here, and that was big time, but this is something else....
Even for Wall I don't know if it was like this, though I was in Texas at the time, but my friends were definitely not talking like they are now about AJ....

His dad being a cop, him growing up in an African/Jamaican household, yeah he's going to put in the work.....
I'm not even worried, Ace is going to handle whatever AJ needs to get on....
This is a situation where I think the pops being involved is actually going to be a very good thing......

I was really torn between AJ and DP, but I ultimately felt that whoever we got would be good either way, but after seeing youngin in DC for 2 days, I'm like wow, we got it right....
You can see it already....
And I think the basketball part is going to be the easiest piece of the puzzle.......

He's actually already a superstar Ty.......
The ways we're seeing people responding to him, because in DC, we're really skeptical if you not really like that, but when you are we recognize, and we're recognizing.......

Let's go bust some ass in Vegas......
I might head out there to try and catch a few games.....

It wasn't "his analytics" that were impressive, it was his play on the basketball court. Among the very best of the last decade or so.

& no one knows who'll be in the top 3 of this draft, but I'd say Boozer is the most likely to be RoY & most likely to be the first all star out of this class as well.
