You said it correctly. It is absolutely embarrassing. If Vlad was in any American city right now (especially big markets like New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Chicago, LA, etc.), he would be ripped into shreds on a daily basis these past two months. I never have seen a pro athlete in any sport, especially with what he is being paid, treated with such Kid Gloves by the local media and this organization. The guy's performance this year up to date has been a total disgrace.

If Vlad had performed like his 2024 version right now, this team would be 6-7 games above .500 right now, and not 2 games below .500.
However, I have read some responses these past couple of weeks from some media sheep, that maybe he is not "fully healthy". If that is the case, put his butt on the IL and call up Sean Keys or give Valenzuela more playing time at First Base. Give Vlad a mental break and let him figure it out away from the field, if he is not healthy and going through some things.

The injury BS is just a planted story to save Guerrero from further embarrassment. Can bet you anything it was fed to the media by the Front Office. He had some back tightness two weeks ago for which he missed 2 games and Schneider said hes been 100% since then.

Like clockwork the Jays are down in the 1st inning. Our starting pitching has been a dumpster fire for weeks now.

Hey, at least he's pleased with his BP.
