The Hawks were the team that most inspired me, adding Kingston Flemings (No. 8) and Zuby Ejiofor (No. 23), two players who will raise the bar for intensity and toughness as Atlanta continues to configure a winner.
But I should note that I thought teams generally drafted well -- I didn't see any decisions that defied logic.

One interesting thing I caught wind of is that the LA Clippers were apparently taking calls up until they used the No. 5 pick on Keaton Wagler.
My understanding is that the Hawks and Memphis Grizzlies were in pursuit.

Despite a run of backcourt players going off the board before their first pick, the Hawks landed Flemings, a freshman point guard from Houston.
Atlanta has quietly assembled a guard corps with complementary skill sets: Nickeil Alexander-Walker is a solid two-way contributor, CJ McCollum is the shotmaking veteran, Dyson Daniels is the energetic defensive stopper, and Flemings arrives as an explosive off-the-dribble threat.
Hawks coach Quin Snyder should be able to mix and match his personnel and allow the 19-year-old Flemings to develop on his own timetable. Ejiofor brings length and defensive toughness to an Atlanta frontcourt that needed more depth, and he should be ready to contribute immediately after spending four seasons in college.

1st first round pick moves like a sports car! Quick! Fast!
2nd 1st round pick is a real horse! Gets things done inside. Not someone easily pushed around and run over.
3rd 1st round pick (This is where he belongs!) Is the big Sports care. Watch how smooth and quick he moves!
All three expected to stay with the Hawks. They may make up three of the five 2nd string members. Great draft!!
