Here is a quick list of what you need in your writeup.

1. Specific years for each player on your team
2. Rotations and minutes for each player
3. Reasoning as to why your team will win and/or why people should vote for you.

Do not vote in this thread until both managers have submitted their writeups. Once the writeups are posted, you may post a vote by commenting to this post (notice we will not be using a poll) - all participants of the draft are invited and encouraged to post a vote, so as other regular participants of the games in the forum. Category 1: David West 17’ - 3.7
Category 2: Mike Conley 21’ - 12.5
Category 3: Brook Lopez 21’ - 9.1
Category 4: Tim Duncan 07’ - 14.1
Category 5: Gary Payton II 24’ - 4.2
Category 6: Kobe Bryant 08’ - 20.6
Category 7: Wesley Matthews 22’ - 4.5
Category 8: Jayson Tatum 24’ - 19.3

88/88

Conley 33\Payton 15
Kobe 38\Payton 5\Matthews 5
Tatum 30\Matthews 18
Duncan 38\Tatum 8\West 2
Lopez 36\West 12

A great all around defense that holds the lead on almost every possible matchup
I have big, strong proven defenders against an offense that lacks some primary scoring IMO (Kawhi is great but is main value is his two-way abilities)
Conley and Kobe take the perimeter work against Hali and Manu, Tatum and Duncan, and Lopez all big defenders who cna face aome bodies and guard 5-out rotation like Doc’s, switching and challenging Kawhi, Pascal and KAT with different types of defense and no weak spots

A perfect attack, Duncan, Kobe and Tatum are deadly together
The starting 5 is perfect spacing to modernize Kobe&Duncan as primary duo
I can shoot, slash inside are just let one if the superstar carry and everything works

I think a Duncan, Kobe, Tatum is the better trio and the team around them holds the edge, an unstoppable trio with great complementary stars

SF - Kawhi Leonard (2017 - 17.7 FGA) (category 1 - non lotto)
PF - Pascal Siakam (2019 - 11.8 FGA) (category 4 - small scale international country)

87.2 / 88

SG - Manu Ginobili (22) / Jaden McDaniels (26)
SF - Kawhi Leonard (38) / Jaden McDaniels (8) / Nic Batum (8)
PF - Pascal Siakam (36) / Serge Ibaka (12)
C - Karl-Anthony Towns (38) / Serge Ibaka (10)

GL Mr Ringer

Defensive matchups - Hali on Conley, Manu on Kobe (having McDaniels is a big help), Kawhi on Tatum, Towns on Duncan, Siakam on Lopez

His team is pretty talented obviously but has a slower, big ball style, we are placing pace and space with young Siakam as a great fit with Hali and Towns shooting 3s and spacing out Lopez. Manu and Kawhi are worse than Kobe and Tatum combo but they fit more and and we have a bit stronger 4th and 5th best starters with arguably Haliburton and Siakam vs Conley and Lopez. Our bench is also stronger with two big difference makers in Ibaka and McDaniels and Batum is as good as Matthews but relied on less. Overall we have the stronger offensive team, his D is stronger but it helps to stretch out his shotblockers and get points in transition.

Close matchup. I like Dr’s pace-and-space offense and his bench is clearly stronger, but I think Mr Ringer’s top-end talent and defensive structure carry it. Manu on Kobe and Towns on Duncan are difficult matchups, and Mr Ringer has enough spacing with Conley/Tatum/Lopez to let Kobe and Duncan operate effectively. Dr P's offense will score, but I trust the Kobe/Duncan/Tatum trio more over a full series.

For me, this matchup comes down to Towns. Which version do we get. And while he was great in 2026, he needs to be launching the 3 ball a little more often to have Dr Positivity come out on top here. (only 4 3PA in the RS, even less in PS). Towns only had 2 games with over 8 3PA. He's a threat to shoot it, and shoot it well, but you can guard him effectively with Tatum and Duncan due to the lack of volume.

Doc's team is fun, and would win a ton of games in 2026. However, Mr Ringer's defense looks great, and I'll bank on that to take them home.

Kobe and Tatum could be an awkward fit given their stylistic similarities, and I generally prefer Duncan at the 5. It's a great defensive group in the halfcourt but I think Dr P can cause them a lot of problems by running and spacing them out. Dr P's bench is also significantly better.

Great teams

Mr Ringer has the talent advantage but not by lot imo since I'm really high on Manu and Haliburton

I like the fit more overall on Dr's team
