Any less baggy pics of Giambi yet? There were rumors swirling around that he's in great shape.

Austin Romine, our 2nd rd pick from last year. a 6'1" 200lb C out of high school. His arm is an 80 on the 20-80 scouting scale and his glove isn't far behind. Has good gap power, makes consistent contact, and the potential to be a pretty good power hitter. not to mention we also drafted a HS catcher in the 6th round of the same draft:

Chase Weems, at 6'2" 180 has a great bat. Good discipline and will rack up the hits. His arm is about a 65.

Cervelli
Montero
Romine
Weems

Montero will be our future 1B. However, it won't be due to the fact that he is too big to be a catcher as most scouts say. It will be due to the fact that Austin Romine is that nasty.

Bruney has lost a ton of weight... WOW.

Hopefully that means more repeatable mechanics and a better year for him. We could really use him when Joba goes to the starting rotation.

Hopefully his weight loss coincides with his control problems.

Britton put on TONS of weight. A waste of a roster spot if you ask me.
