Fielder becoming more vocal

Fielder's normally friendly face had turned into a scowl that could peel the paint off the clubhouse wall. Suddenly, the 262-pound first baseman shouted a word symbolizing frustration and anger. Almost everybody looked up.

Then he boomed, "We've got to gather ourselves."

After a pause, there was another shock word that reverberated through the clubhouse. Nobody else said a word, and a muted tone characterized the clubhouse until the last players left.

I like that he's a player that won't except loosing and is not afraid to let the team know about it.

I bet the "word symbolizing frustration and anger" was a F-bomb and the "We've got to gather ourselves" can be translated to "we got to get our F'n Sh*t together around here!"

And he goes out and backs it up. Leader, enforcer, I like it either way.

PRINCE FIELDER HUNGRY

Sorry, I could just see Prince in a fit of rage just eat Tony Gwynn (Jr.?) whole, then snap Counsell over his knee. Then scream and run through a wall.

I have a vivid imagination sometimes

LOL!

But this is good. This team needs leaders and it's great especially when the young guy is doing it.

Awesome. Yeah Jenks says hes the leader but I think everyone knows that is BS. That guy can get hot and play good in spurts but he just never seemed like a leader to me. Now what I would really like to see is when someone starts getting mad because their PT is reduced for not performing, will Prince tell them to get their head out of their @ss and to quite being such a whiny Bit@h. Then he will have complete control of that clubhouse. Of course he better be producing himself when and if something like that happens.

Anyone notice how Prince looks like he wants to snap his bat after nearly every strikeout?

Yeah, he stands there and wonders how he struck out.
