One down, two more to go.

It will be interesting to see how much per year he got.

A 3 year 33 million dollar contract. :o I would say thats a lot lower than I expected it to be and I figured there would have been at least a 4th year included as well. Good job Mark!!

Sweet, good job Shapiro. The one guy I'm worried that will look at the market is CC. It's gonna take the big bucks to get him signed. Anyways today is about Jake. Thanks Jake, good to see you hanging around for a few more years.

I love Westbrook's pitching style (same with Sowers).. I'm not a real big CC fan, but I would love to keep him...

But if it comes down to it, there's no way this lineup can lose Hafner...

Solid signing with Jake.. 3/33 is not a killer..

This is a very team friendly contract. If the young pitchers like Carmona, Miller, etc.. pan out and show they are ready to take over Westbrook becomes VERY tradeable, but if we still need him then his contract doesnt hinder the team from holding onto him. I love this deal by Shapiro.

I think CC is going to be a 100+ million pither fellas. I just dont know if I see us offering up that kind of money. Now Hafner is a different story.

I figured that both sides were going to wait till the offseason since they didnt get anything done in Spring Traning so I am suprised that they signed a contract. But that aside it is cheaper then I though it was going to come so it should be nice to have Jake around for a couple more years atleast.
