OT: MLB 08 The Show.

Post#1 » by I_Love_NYK » Mon Mar 3, 2008 12:20 am

I got it already, great improvements from last year's game. I can't see MLB 2K8 being better than the show. Must have for baseball fans with PS3.

How did you get it early? I played the demo, enjoyed it. The Rockies beat the Red Sox when I played. Regardless, I plan on picking it up on Tuesday. -Jitpal

i haven't played a good mlb game since MVP 05 for the PC. in my opinion, nothing has surpassed the gameplay of that game.

I just got off the Phone with NAS. He said if you listen closely to the intro he not saying **** Jayz. He knew one day a cat name Joey would play himself on realgm. Ether was meant to be used in the future. :o

Ditto. When I heard the MVP series was killed, I was pissed. The console games since then have not come close to the last MVP game. I still break that out on my PC every once in a while.

Got this yesterday for PS2, the closest to the old EA MVP games that I've played since they were disco'd

I only played MLB 06 on PS2, MLB 07 and MLB 08 I got it for PS3. It is really good and made a lot of improvements from MLB 07. Especially the graphics.

The only thing I can't figure out - only played one game - is baserunning. I haven't really spent time to figure it out. Throwing is different than the old MVP games, but pitching and hitting are similar.

X-Box 360... Wish Sony would sell the rights to a 3rd party company.
