Your points make a lot of sense, and you statistics prove it too. So I guess we are a HR hitting team that just can't find the ball. Hopefully this season we will prevail and live of to this feat.

BTW, do you know all these stats just off the top of your head, or do you look it up. (Like how the Jays were 13 in OBP in 2007, and how many HR's they hit in a certain season.) Because you throw a lot of stats out all the time in your arguments, and they prove a good point.

Just wondering ;)

I think our season this yea can be summed up in one word : "IF".

If we stay healthy...
If we get career years from Marcum, Janssen, Litsch, Rios, Stairs (again)
If we have bounce back years from Rolen, Wells, Burnett, Overbay, Johnson, BJ, League, and company
IF Halladay, Eckstein, Rios, Accardo, Janssen and Hill continue to progress the way they did last year.
If we get good situational hitting and are able to play well againt our division rivals
and
If the Yankees and Red Sox suffer some unfortunate (to them not us) injuries

THEN...we might have a chance to compete in the AL this year for the division and Wildcard.

But hope is a good thing.
